Meilan Hotel may not be your best bet
The hotel has a strange policy about room deposits. They tried to charge me a 400RMB deposit on a room that was only 200RMB.

Great hotel for its price, but a little worn down. Shower needs a better design because water splashes all over the place. Lots of wear and tear throughout the room.

●Wifi 甚為流暢; 房間有空間可走動。 ●房間僅浴室有望光井窗一隻, 不合格! ●大堂女管房林淼霞服務態度欠佳! ●酒店收取了住宿全部費用，並說訂房時Expedia在信用卡即 時扣除顧客的首日房租將由expedia退回。是嗎? 至今未收 到; 即使將來退回， 轉換外幣扣數，會怎樣計呢?

麻雀雖小，五臟俱全。
1. 酒店不近地鐵站。從一徳路站沿海珠中路北行，需時約15分鐘，沿途多五金配件店及小食店，故街道頗污穢， 酒店附近的食肆亦欠水準。 2. 若從西門口站南行至酒店，需時更久，約25分鐘吧。 3. 但它很近上九路，步行5分鐘便可到，但是晚上10時後街燈頗暗，不像香港街道的燈火通明,不太習慣。 4. 但酒店本身並沒有大問題，大堂亦有空間。 5. 需改善地方是: 床褥過硬、膠拖鞋陳舊污穢、空調嘈吵、房內沒有冰箱、沒有衣櫃掛衣物，大堂無洗手間、 升降機需噴上香精等等。 6. 請執行升降機禁吸煙令。
