"We loved Villa George! It was such a fun place for all of us, and especially the children. Lots of toys and activities. A very cheerful and happy atmosphere. This reflects the delightful host George who could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Everything was spotless and we had all that we needed. The town is pleasant with a pretty beach, and we enjoyed visiting the Marathon battle site and classic race route. Highly recommend! "

"It is Hydra, and there are some steps to be climbed to get to it either on foot or by donkey, but our kind host Theodora has a gem of a property at which to stay close to town. It is very neat and clean, with a little inner courtyard for eating dinner and visiting with friends, and a roof top area that can be climbed via a narrow stair case with great views of the surrounding neighborhood and Hydra Town. "The house itself is very clean, very complete and nice. Maybe a bit small, especially the masterbedroom feels a bit cramped. Everything you might need is there, even toiletteries and beachtowels. Contact with Athanasios was friendly and nice. The view from the garden is fantastic! The garden is lovely, the pool is clean and nice. 10 minutes walk to the beach, 14 to town. "Everyday we took a cold shower. I asked if the washing machine is working and the owner stated it was. When I got there and used it the machine was not working. The owners mother called for service on top of that she was expecting me to pay for it. The shower door was broken and fell on my mother. When I told the owners mother that the door was broken she said yes the last tenant broke it. Just take a shower carefully. The light bulb in the bathroom was broken also.
