Like: Management was friendly, responsive,helpful. Property was clean. Location was prime for shopping, dining. Cabinets were stocked with plenty of glasses, plates, silverware. Dislike: The inside lighting was too dim. Maybe because of my advanced years. No bathroom exhaust fan. Would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

Thank you so much for the kind review. Sorry about the bathroom fan we are currently adding bathroon fans to rooms that did not have one. My husband and I are in the prossess of remodling rooms that need updating and the scraping and painting outside of building. Please forgive us as we are limited to time as we only have the Spring and Summer to takle the building we hope to finish this Summer. Thank you so much for staying with us and we hope to see you again.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Room was cozy, hot water was more like lukewarm, but enjoyed my stay overall.

NO SLEEP LOUD AS HELL
Loudest place I have ever stayed its currently 430 am and i have been up since 330 when the slamming and pounding started. Not sure if someone just came in or is getting ready to leave but its completely ridiculous. We are on the top floor so must be people behind us. I understand thin walls but this is too much. Maybe let late coming or early rising guests know to try and be respectful because it sounds like they are coming through the walls....very disappointed.

We are very sorry for your inconvenience. We wish you would of contacted office so we could of addressed the situation. We do not allow rowdy guest or anyone disturbing any other guest. We do take great pride in our place and try to keep customers satisfied. We do need to be aware of any such incidents so we can address them. We would of surely went and asked people to quiet down or even leave if not compliant.We live on the premises and are available to assist you.Once again sorry for in inconvenience. Normally this is a quite and comfortable establishment unfortunately we do not know whats going on in rooms unless notified!

We did like the lodge and it was really decorated very nicely. The only thing I wish they had was an ice machine. Not having ice to have cold water was a bummer, but not a reason not to stay.

Great Place to Stay in Grayling, MI
The property was very well kept and the room was clean, cute, and cozy. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We chose this motel because it was pet friendly. It had a well maintained grass area just across from the parking area. I have nothing negative to say about this motel. The property manager was very kind as well. I would stay here again.

Charming place
When we returned to our room there was no ELECTRICITY Powers was out all traffic lights in town and neighboring counties. There was a 3600 mile raging fires so No electricity Had to go to three towns until we found a restaurant open We retired at 9pm . I was hoping I would get a compensation for room. Nothing happened

We are sadly sorry for the inconvenience, no one came into the office to ask to compensation. We try to be fair. We had a Forrest fire that got to over 3000 acres, sorry we can not control unforseen disasters such as such. They had to cut the electric off in the town for the safety of the firemen. We do thank you for staying with us and hopefully your next visit to Grayling is better..Thank you for the review

So noisy. Was awakened three different times by later arriving guests. Could hear every word. Thank goodness nobody was using TV. Wouldn’t stay again without ear plugs.

Sorry we had a school wrestling team here for a competition. We are an older motel so walls may be a little thin very sorry for the noise.We do though have nice new nectar beds and are extreamly clean. We try to do our best with what we can control.

Very well maintained cozy lil room
Room was a tad small but it was very well maintained. Owner remodeled the bathroom, looks super new & well done. Nice small kitchen too with toaster & coffee maker. Will stay here again if I am ever needing to make a stop here.

One night stay on our way back to Canada
Our room was clean and comfortable for our 1 night stay. The motel has a section that is 2 storeys. We were on the ground level and could hear people talking and walking above us. It was very loud. Also, I think there was a pet in the room above us and we could hear a tapping on the floor as if it were a tail tapping above our heads. Fortunately it stopped around midnight and we were able to fall asleep. If we ever stay here again, I would request a room at the end where it is only ground level rooms.

Sorry for the noise the building is older its been a motel here for some time we are just an old mom n pop motel. We do allow pets in certain rooms for thoes who travel with pets. We do appreciate the review and are glad all else was satisfactory.Thank you for staying with us.

we were very pleased with our room...everything was clean and tidy..... only problem we had was with the' digital key to get in the room...not a big deal. Would go there again if we needed a room in that vicinity.
