"My family had a wonderful winter stay at the Serene Lakes cabin. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and relax, and it is just 10 minutes to Sugar Bowl resort where we spent most of our time skiing. The kids also loved playing in the snow and walking to the frozen lake across the street. "This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! "Let me start off by saying the two-star review seems a bit harsh. Here are my thoughts. Indeed, the pool lights go off at 9pm and you can't be loud past that time. The neighbors aren't super close, but I'm sure this property had issues with noise in the past and that probably ruined it for everyone going forward.
