Hotel going through remodeling, we got a room that was smelling terrible but they nicely changed the room... All I can say after remodeling it will look and feel much better.

The Hotel is nice. They are still doing renovations so it’s in disarray a little, but the staff has all been exceptional. The hotel is in a convenient area of town within walking distance to numerous dinning options.

Remodel looks amazing, still working on finishing the remaining section. Our room was perfect with a beautiful view of the river and surrounding scenery. Walkable to a large selection of shops, bars, and restaurants. We will definitely stay again!

We weren't informed that the hotel was was under. Renovation. Our room was not ready at check-in. Staff was friendly and helpful but understaffed. Great location within walking distance to many restaurants and the hot springs. Older historical hotel that has been remodeled to the best it can be considering it's age.

There was no information that the hotel lobby was under major construction when I booked the room. Waited in hallway too long for someone to come to temporary desk to check us in. We almost left. Hotel was quiet but also hardly anyone was there. Very clean other than the major construction. Was very disappointed because I booked this room for my partner to experience the charm of the entry, lobby etc. It was his birthday :( Bummer

The property was under renovation...something that was not communicated on their website nor on the 3rd party website. The hotel was understaffed at the front desk. It was incredibly noisy with furniture being moved around at night and dogs barking in neighboring rooms. Not an enjoyable experience.

No longer Denver Hotel now called Maximillian Anderson (?). Lot of renovation being done. Industrial design in the rooms. Great location right across from the train station.

The hotel is in a great location. The front desk staff was very nice. There is currently a lot of renovation going on. The bed that we slept on was really bad, for some reason it was sloping down on both sides.

Property was not transparent about full ongoing renovation. Construction crews from 8 am on each day. Room TV was not hooked up. Refrigerator did not work. Reservation was for a king room, got a queen. Seems to be new ownership.

Room was clean and comfy, however definitely on the small side with minimal toiletries and linens. No mention was made about some rather major lobby construction that apparently is linked to a name change and new owner. The location is excellent to walk anywhere in the local area with plenty of shops and stores.

Our stay at the hotel was great. They were in the middle of renovations from just recently being sold but it wasn’t an issue really unless you don’t like the smell of fresh paint. Proximity to shopping and dining was all in walking distance. Would definitely recommend to others.

There was construction going on, which I knew and didn’t mind but I told the front desk girl to not announce my room number (solo female stay) like she did the guy before me and she didn’t but then proceeded to give instructions to my hall. You can hear everything inside the rooms- they are lock and key and not a keypad type lock situation. Anyone walking down my hallway, woke me up. The people next to me were speaking at normal volume and it was like they were in my room. Wouldn’t fully recommend this hotel.

Advertised as a historic hotel. But, it was undergoing major renovation and a mess. Not the charming historic building it was advertised to be. Reserved a king bed, but our room had a double bed. Disappointing!

Very cool spot. Unfortunately we caught them in middle of remodel but it really didn’t affect us. Room was clean and QUIET. B d was very comfortable and this is very important to me after 4 back surgeries. Staff was incredible!! Thus will definitely be our spot in GS!!! 👊👊👊

Property was under construction when we stayed which would have been nice to know before hand as there was noise and dust related to it. Room didn’t match the pictures- we had double king suite but it felt unfinished - like all of the furniture was just put in the room up against the wall & hadn’t been organized yet. Location is unbeatable if you want to walk everywhere. Room was clean and plenty of towels. Lots of noise from other guests and from the pub below but usually stopped by 11:30pm. Was underwhelmed given what we paid and expected for the price.

Didn’t know it was undergoing a renovation. That didn’t matter. Room had paint smears on the interior side of room and also the bathroom door. Power strip was used for lamps and fridge. Just some aesthetics that the staff might want to be aware of.
