The hotel is conveniently located on the road to the castles and other attractions. After a morning there, we walked into old Fussen and enjoyed a walk by the river and enjoyed an amazing venison goulash at a local, 400 year old restaurant. We were on the first floor, right alongside the main road. It was a bit noisy due to the traffic. It might be better on a higher floor. The breakfast and dinner there were good

Great hotel .
We stayed in Best Western hotel in January 2024 for two nights. Excellent hotel, great location, spotless clean , great breakfast, very freindly staff. The lady at the reception Lea is super helpful and very pleasant. Highly recommend the hotel and we are definitely coming back 😀

Newer hotel with good facilities
There's a lot to like. It's a newer hotel with larger rooms for the price than many hotels in Germany, working a/c, usb ports in the room and a friendly and helpful staff who speak good English. The breakfast is good and my room had a kettle. One thing I didn't like was that the a/c gets switched off in mid-October "because it is winter" as the front desk put it (although it was still warm outside during the day). Also, the hot water was slow to come through and the water pressure was low. The in-room safe is too small for a laptop. Although it's an easy walk from railway station, guests should note that google is wrong to show the hotel on the west side of the road.

Great Place!
This is a very nice hotel that is an easy 7-minute walk from the train station; no taxi needed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, especially about getting same-day tickets to the castles. I followed their advice and was able to get what I needed. They have a restaurant on site and they serve, for an extra cost, a nice breakfast buffet. The rooms are well-appointed and the beds are super comfortable.

Heated floors in bathroom!!!
Wasn’t sure what to expect, I was thinking Best Western was more of a budget hotel. The Best Western Fussen is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The front desk staff was very helpful and the heated floors in the bathroom made me want to spend more time in there!

Staff were great, friendly and informative. It’s not in the heart of Füsson however the walk is gentle with the train station and city around 10 min walk. Breakfast had a lot of variety, kids loved that they had hot milk, however missing syrup for waffles.

Excellent Air Conditioning
Excellent stay for two nights. Hotel is close to the Fussen train station. A fully stocked bar and restaurant are available. The hotel has the best air conditioning in the rooms I have seen.

The hotel was lovely and the area was very quaint. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The restaurant on site was excellent for both supper and the breakfast. My husband said they had the best bacon anywhere.

Excellent hotel choice for Füssen/the castles
We had a wonderful quick stay! The man who checked is in, Mehmet, was a true delight; patient, kind, helpful, even funny. This was our 94th hotel stay this year and he was the best we’ve had. This hotel is perfectly situated- not exactly in the hustle bustle, but a 5 minute walk! The parking garage makes everything easy.

We stayed one night in this property before our visit to the Schloss Neuschwanstein. It was conveniently located for that and had a parking garage. The staff were friendly but there was a misunderstanding at checkin about how our prepaid Expedia reservation worked - they were planning to charge us well. We sorted it with the help of a more experienced staff member but it all took longer than necessary. The room was bright and clean as was the restaurant. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. They had decaffeinated coffee but only instant - disappointing considering the number of people looking for that option. Nevertheless, I would stay again.

The hotel was close enough to walk to and from the train station. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy many of the amenities. It was a short can ride(15 euros or so) from Neuschwanstein Castle.

A lovely simple basic clean room with comfortable beds and has breakfast and parking available. Walkable from train station. Walkable to the castles if someone doesn’t mind a 3-4km walk. Plenty of shopping up the street in the old town and a grocery store (likely more than one) within 5 mins.
