The hotel staff was great and ready to assist. The hotel however, is still living in the 70's. You need a physical key with a weight as a key ring. If you get a street side room, be prepared to hear, sirens, ambulances, people screaming, cars honking 24 hrs. a day, for however many days you are there. Its right next to the train station so there are many, many homeless begging and sleeping under covered areas. Rooms are small but functional.

The property was utter disgust, this should not be allowed to host people. The room was dirty, unprepared, the area is horrible. You should close this thing down, before something happens. People are in real damger around here.

Ideal location, friendly Desk staff
Ideal location (across the street from Frankfurt Hbf) and this was my principal consideration. Desk staff were especially friendly and polite -- And patient. They were responsive to my requests for assistance and tried repeatedly to solve an issue I could not solve on my own (unrelated to the hotel -- but related to my travels, so they really were going beyond the call of duty in this case)

The location is very convenient to the main train station. The rooms are small but clean. The rest of the hotel is very worn (carpets and walls). I found the bed comfortable. The hot water in my first room was luke warm. The radiator in the bathroom hummed and the radiator in the bedroom did not work. Maintenance staff attempted to fix both radiators. The results was a flood in the bedroom. I was moved to other smaller room with an apology. In my second room the heat worked in the bedroom but the dryer rack in the bathroom did not.

Not the best stay
I found the queen room very small. The bathroom was extremely hot without being able to switch off. The lighting in the bedroom was only a lamp which had a shaky lamp shade and looked out of place in the room. There were other fittings not secured in this room. The seals around the shower leaked whenever i used the shower. They provided no water and when they did you had no bottle opener. Hotel hallway carpets could do with extreme cleaning.

close to the HBF station, 15 min walk to the messe, good transport nearby and a few good restaurants, the area itself isnt the nicest, but due to its proximity to the messe it was perfect for us

The property is generally in poor conditions. Especially the common areas are in need for renovation. The TV in the room did not work, one of the light fixtures at the wall had come lose and there was mould in the bathroom.

The reception area was very clean and welcoming. The hotel is located in a not so good area of town. There are a lot of people milling around all the time. The hotel rooms are not very clean and they don’t have air conditioning. The street being very noisy made it very difficult to sleep with the windows open in an attempt to cool off the room.
