Great trip
A very simple nice room with a hathroom coffee maker microwave and freezer fridge mini. It had everything we needednas we werw visiting family in Fairhope. The horse made it fun for us and we enjoyed it being rural! Host was super nice! We will be back!

Get-a-way
Never stayed in a horse barn before and we loved it. The room was clean, interesting and the bed very comfortable. We enjoyed the farm setting and quiet space. The horses were great neighbors too. We will definitely come back.

2nd time in 3months.
I absolutely love this place! I stayed in March for my birthday and brought my granddaughter back for hers in June. Now my 10yr old grandson “wants his turn with the horses” and wants to go for his birthday in September. The room is perfect for two people. Quiet, quaint. To wake up early to go sit outside with your coffee and open your door, and the horses are in their stalls waiting on you is so beautiful. Fairhope is less than five minutes away. So many shops! The people are so friendly. Beautiful countryside. We spent the day in Gulf Shores, less than an hour away. The main restaurants we tried this time was Locals, Julwins and The Wash House. All were very very good. The hosts are such sweet people. MaryLouise is super nice and is quick to answer you back when you text or email her. I will definitely be back.

Stay was super easy and convenient for getting around to all the sights and shops in the area. If looking for a cozy and quiet stay in the Point Clear/Fairhope/Daphne area, this would be great for a couple or individual.

So peaceful.
Very easy checkin. Great area. Met both the owners and they were so sweet and helpful with tips about the area. This place was perfect for just me. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved the horses! So sweet. Five minutes down the road from the main streets of Fairhope. Happen to have an Arts and Craft festival this weekend that was so awesome! Hoping to go back next year again for it.

Rodent in horse barn apt.
We thought the property was beautiful. Checked in on Feb 17-20. Immediately upon arriving at the barn apt, we both saw a small, black rodent run across the one room and into closet. Talked with the “premier host” and she said her husband would come over and put out traps. She admitted the door had been left open for several hours to replace door threshold, and said she had pest control 4 times a year. Not enough in a barn apt with horses in stalls eating their feed and hay four feet from your door. 3 days later discovered an expensive jacket of mine with large holes chewed in it, which had been hanging in closet. After discussions with her and VRBO, she says there was no rodent and no evidence of one. I’ve never been called a liar before. We took good care of her barn apt and left no damages. She refuses to reimburse me for damage done to my jacket. Denies everything. Just beware if booking here, never again for us.

This Is A Scam!!! Yes, I said "The door jam was recently replaced by workman and it took about 20 minutes to do it." There is still no evidence of a rodent. There are no droppings, - nothing is chewed in the apartment (the wires, the blankets, the towels, and all wood, is fine.) I put 2 glue traps baited with peanut butter in the closet immediately and they have not been touched. I contacted our pest control company to investigate and they also could not find evidence of a rodent. I have 5 stars from guest before and after you. You threatened me with a bad review if I did not pay up so I insisted we message by vrbo rather than a private text. You said your sweater was hanging on a hanger in the closet and a mouse decided to eat two holes in it? It looks moth eaten to me. ---Future vrbo hosts be aware........ I'd rather get a bad review and go on record about this so you can't do this to anyone else than pay you.

Great visit!
This was our first time staying at Little Lob Lolly of Point Clear. It's in a great location, and it's very quiet. The horses were a treat to see, and they too are quiet. While I never got to meet MaryLouise, she was as sweet as she could be on the phone. Very communicative. Very accommodating. And lots of channels on TV. We plan to be back as soon as we can!

We liked the quiet and pastoral beauty of the lot, and the novelty of horses stabling next to the room was unique. The horses were very quiet and in general, very considerate, not being given to partying into the wee hours and such.

Unique and beautiful property
This was perfect for our quick trip to Fairhope and brief overnight stay. Very quaint and cozy. Very quiet and secluded. Communication was always great and late night check in could not have been easier. Our little Yorkie slept through the night with no “monsters “ to scare away. Really enjoyed the brief stay.

Unique Property
This room was literally in a horse stall that had been converted into a suite. The amenities were adequate. The room was comfortable. There is a mini fridge, microwave and Kuerig. Since we were reusing our bowls and coffee cups, I would have liked dish soap, but rinsed them out with bath soap just fine. We met the owner and she was very nice. Had suggestions for things to do in the area. The beach was not part of our trip, but the property is only 45 minutes away from Gulf Shores and much less expensive than staying on the beach.

The Little Lob Lolly apt has never been a horse stall. It is a 300 sq foot living space that we used as an office first, and then my art studio. There is dawn dishwashing soap, paper towels, windex. and a sponge plus plates. glasses, knives, and forks in the closet.

The property is absolutely amazing. MaryLouise was very nice to deal with. The area is pretty much one of our favorite areas in the world. We wish we could live there. It was great being able to pet/see the horses. The only downsides: Bed really does need a new mattress Shower is incredibly small (but the water pressure was great) Internet/streaming signal kept cutting out (may have been weather related) Suffice to say we enjoyed our stay and would gladly use it again Mike and Nancy G Riverside, Ca

Excellent room and beautiful property
I am from Fairhope so I was familiar with the area. This was a last minute booking for a wedding and it couldn’t have been a better booking. The room is quaint and clean. Communication with the renter was fantastic. This is the downstairs unit in a barn/ stable we were able to wake up to watch 2 beautiful horses graze each day. Lovation is very convenient to some of Fairhope’s best reataurants like The Wash House, The Grand Hotel and just a few minutes from Downtown.

quaint and clean but...
we loved the location and it had potential but a few things... hot water ran out within 3 minutes of first shower, pillows were not good quality and if you're a light sleeper bring a sound machine and/ or ear plugs. it was "charming" to be in the barn with the horses but they make a lot of noise. it was very difficult to sleep and then to have a cold shower on top of that... quaint and charming didn't make up for it.

I’m sorry Little Lob Lolly was not a good fit for you. The left hand faucet is hot water. We have a 40 gallon tank. I just checked it for 10-15 minutes and it was very hot. I have 4 pillows, 2 feather, 2 foam. Perhaps you should bring your own when traveling. Thanks for the tip about noisy horses. Now that it’s stopped raining I can lock them out of the stalls. I’m surprised I did not hear about any of this when I met your significant other early that morning. When I asked him if ya’ll were comfortable he said yes. Good luck to you. MaryLouise

Sehr saubere, große und helle Fewo, ruhig gelegen mit viel Grün. Die Gastgeberfamilie hat uns herzlich empfangen und begrüßt. Wir haben sehr wertvolle Ausflugstipps bekommen.Die Bäckerei gleich in der Nähe sorgt für beste Frühstücksbrötchen. Ein schönes Waldstück in unmittelbarer Nähe lädt zum Wandern ein. Ein Besuch in Konstanz, Stein am Rhein, Meersburg und Überlingen sind sehr empfehlenswert.
