The Treehouse offers a full kitchen, living room and dining room with Internet and satellite cable tv.
Nestled in the heart of the County, The Treehouse is the perfect jumping off point for your Door County adventure. Discover 2 Beaches, 3 local wineries, 4 antique malls, the County's highest ranked golf course, a petting farm, and a coffee bistro all within a 5 minute drive. 5 miles to the north lands you in downtown Egg Harbor(Best Small Town in Wisconsin-Wisconsin Trails Magazine), home to some of the best restaurants and shopping in the County. Looking for a night out on the town - 4 Professional theatre's are all within a 20 minute drive. The Treehouse's greatest asset is its Off the Beaten Path attitude! Cyclists will enjoy the least traffic and best country roads in the County. Spend an afternoon in the sunshine meandering through the private prairie paths and explore Plum Bottom's 20 acres. A 300 acre nature preserve(Door County Land Trust) is just a short walk through the woods.

Off the beaten Path
This roomy tree house is a great quiet getaway, not in the busy part of Egg Harbor. Yes, you must climb a staircase but if you choose to just hang out your whole stay it has all you need. You don't have to be scared of the dark though. Due to being above Plum Bottom Gallery is well lit and you can sit outside and even grill or have a fire. Our rainy evenings didn't allow that. Wonderful place, employees we met were extremely helpful and friendly.

We came to Door County in the off season to relax and enjoy time our together. The treehouse offered all of the comforts of home and a peaceful environment. The small rental had plenty of room for the two of us and provided everything we needed.

Relaxing "Tree House" Retreat
Pro's - the unit was exactly as described - very clean, and neat - bed SUPER comfortable - great central location to three "downtown" areas - well stocked with linens, towels, pots/pans/cups, plates etc. - easy in/out, you only need to take out the trash and start the dishwasher - and go! Getting in was easy, a door code. Con's - jacuzzi tub jets are inoperable - the art gallery office is directly below the main living space and we could hear everything discussed. - it was dicey getting in and out with ice on the ground, lots of slips and trips (our designated parking spot was taken up on day 2, and it was not easy navigating the ice around cars on foot) overall - GREAT TIME, i would go back in the future.

So charming , serene and relaxing!
Just like it looks in the pictures! Very clean and has everything you need in the kitchen for cooking! Although our visit was cut short by us having to leave unexpectedly, the time that we were at the Treehouse was wonderful! I can’t wait to go back and stay longer and explore the area more. I would most definitely recommend the Treehouse!!

Inspirational Stay!
We went to Door County for an off-season weekend with the grand idea of writing a book about love and forgiveness. The Treehouse was the perfect respite, and it allowed us to focus! Wi-fi was key, and it worked with no problems. Anne and Mary in the Plum Bottom Gallery were both warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed getting to meet with them! They will forever be a part of our story. Keep in mind as you approach the property that it is now painted white with no shutters! That threw us off a little when we were looking for it! Thank goodness for good directions!
