The property was clean. The front desk was helpful. The breakfast was good. It wasn't close to the Royal Mile. Housekeeping was very poor. The sheets didn't fit the bed, the pillowcases were dirty and the pillows were very thin and lumpy. Don't ask for toilet paper if you run out you might never get it.

The moxy had such a fun vibe. The gym is a bonus and they have good rooms for anyone who has mobility issues.

Amazing hotel - we had a lovely time. The only negatives were that the beds aren’t as comfy as other hotels and also there was something banging all night outside our window.

Great place to stay! Always know what you’re getting & the place feels very fresh & unique The bar is great! I do wish food was served 24 hours though as we got in late and were very hungry. Had to order Deliveroo, so seems a missed trick not serving it.

The property was in a good location for us, close enough in walking to the city centre, but far enough outside of it to be quiet for a good sleep! We were allowed to check-in early on arrival, which was a bonus, allowing us to freshen up after an early flight, ready to explore the city. My only disappointment with the hotel was on New Years Eve, we were told by bar staff that the bar would remain open until 1am, upon returning to the hotel at 12.30am, it was already closed.

Poor stay
Their family room is a disabled room. First night I’ve reported an issue with the thermostat for the shower. Water wasn’t warm enough and we had cold ish showers. Second night, same problem reported again, nothing was done. Toilet was broken too and we had non stop running water. On our third and last night, I filmed the issues and they moved us to a different disabled room. Breakfast is £15 pp, too expensive for the choices. Good location. Comfortable bed.

Moxy fountainbridge
Moxy Was clean, and had a bunch of amentities. Staff were super helpful and Kind. Great location, near the royal mile and Edinburgh castle. Near public transit, and public transit was very quick and easy to take.

The property is great but be careful of what rooms they give you. They gave me a terrible room, where its just above the traffic light, and my rest was wholly disturbed by the beeping sound throughout. Very disappointing to have received the room but as I was a one-nighter I didnt complain. That room should be repurposed to have air conditioning so you dont have to open the windows at all for cold air, which will cut down the noise problem

Nice staff, easy to hang out at the lobby, gym was fine. Bouncy music frequently loud, but staff will turn it down. Good place to experience the fringe festival.

We were in Edinburgh during a huge festival so the city was very crowded and I think the hotel was full. We paid a high premium fir our tiny little room. We stayed 11 days and service got worse and worse. I thought they were sadly understaffed. Most requests were handled at the bar/ reception and the wait for attention was always long.

Poor parking but friendly staff
The roof top bar was not open, which was disappointing. The beds were separate twins and a little stiff. My wife did not feel they comfortable. The parking is really what killed it for me. The recommended parking was no less than a 10 minute walk. However the room was nice and clean. The staff was friendly. There was a free drink at check in. Overall we were satisfied with the accommodations.
