"You cannot stay any closer to the Winslow Hill Elk Observation area. Wonderfully comfortable and rustic at the same time. Made good use of the grill. The deer were often in the backyard and morning was filled with bird song. Great getaway opportunity and easy to set up."

"Our family had a great time at White Conifer. With five bedrooms, a patio, and a back deck, there was plenty of space for 6 people and 3 small dogs too. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for a weekend stay. The games and activities provided at the cabin were nice to have on hand as well, especially the chess set, which we used alot in the evening."

"It was perfect. It was just for my wife and I, to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. Area so quit and private, just the kind of stuff we love. The breakfast basket was greatly appreciated. Couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely recommend and even book again. P. S. Saw A rabbit, chipmunks and deer. No bears. Maybe next time .😉"

"We enjoyed the cabin except we were a little dismayed there was no address number, made it a bit hard to know the rt cabin. Also, since it was somewhat cold and rainy we could not really enjoy watching tv because it is not set up to enjoy programming we wanted and very difficult to understand even how to work the tv!"

"Cozy, quite, relaxing cabin, well stocked, well decorated with quality furniture, very clean, relaxing creek right off the the back porch, few sightings of wildlife (large red-headed woodpecker and a few deer) and of course....the large firepit & charcoal grill, where family visited & ate for the day. Highly recommend. Will re-visit in the future."

"Five old college buddies meet every year for a weekend. Unfortunately this property is hard to find and there is no cell phone reception. As a result one of our ladies had to turn around and go home because she could not find it or reach us. It would be nice if the road had a sign. We enjoyed the deck the most - sitting through rain or shine watching the river. Very relaxing."

"The tree house was unique and was great for a few days stay. Though it would have been helpful to know ahead of time in the on-line description that the water in not potable. The owners collect rainwater so it's not intended for consumption. Next, communication with the property manager through Vrbo email was a bit difficult...when I initially reserved the property I checked off how many children and their ages. This manager reached out a couple days prior saying the tree house is not...

"I was very impressed with the cleanliness, not only with the cabin itself but all the dishes, pots and pans ; silverware; glasses (I’m very fussy when it comes to cleanliness). We probably spent most of our time sitting on the porch, we loved the privacy. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to go back!"
