A sprawling backyard, a walking trail on over 2 acres of land, and the ability to watch trains go by from the comfort of the living room makes this place the perfect quintessential small town stay. This two bedroom, one bath home offers a newly renovated kitchen, comfortable furniture to unwind in and amenities such as natural cleaners and soaps, and a coffee bar. We believe that your vacation experience should leave you as rested and comfortable as if you had never left home.
You will have access to the entire house plus the backyard (which is shared with other potential guests). You will receive a code for the keyless lock before your stay in order to enter the house.
***Important to know before you book: The trains that go by do blow their horn near the house and this occurs multiple times a day and night. We do provide blackout curtains and sound machines to help ensure a good night's sleep. Also, this home is part of a duplex. The other side is also used as a vacation rental and you will share the driveway and backyard with any guests staying there.

This two bedroom, one bath home offers a newly renovated kitchen, comfortable furniture to unwind in and amenities such as natural cleaners and soaps, and a stocked coffee bar. We believe that your Airbnb experience should leave you as rested and comfortable as if you had never left home. After hosting multiple locations for several years, we have learned what guests appreciate in their home away from home, and we strive to provide the privacy and hospitality that a hotel experience cannot.

There is plenty of space to sleep six, although some beds may be more conducive to children. There is a bedroom with a Queen bed, a bedroom with a twin sized bunk bed, and the couch in the living room has a full sized pull out.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need to cook and eat meals while there. We also provide all linens, towels, soaps and shampoos. There is a washer and dryer that are free for your use while there and we provide laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

Nice place not too far from major attractions
This unit is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Well stocked kitchen, with a full size washer and dryer. I had read about the frequent trains passing so I came prepared with earplugs, and it wasn't a problem. When our grandkids visited us there, they loved watching the trains. Main suggestion I would have for the owners is to replace the queen size mattress. Little too saggy in the middle. Overall I would recommend this unit, if you bring earplugs. : )

Love this place!
This was our second time staying here. Our boys love trains and could not stop talking about this house after the first time we stayed so we had to come back. This home is so cozy and welcoming. We love the little personal touches like the sign welcoming us and a little gift for the kids. Also love the natural cleaning supplies. The home is well stocked with everything needed and the property managers and kind and quick to respond to messages. I’m sure we’ll be back!

The home was charming. Really wished there were drapes on the backdoor. Instruction for the appliances would have been helpful, too. A family with youngsters, who enjoy trains, would appreciate that location.

Very comfortable, lovely place
My 11-year-old daughter and I stayed four nights. The house is really lovely and so, so comfortable. very clean. It had everything we needed. The trains do go by at various hours and the whistle is loud. But we enjoyed the trains a lot! They did not bother us at all. The location is really great for access to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, and there are plenty of stores, restaurants, and shopping nearby. The interstate is close...and there is a Starbucks close by! :-) We loved it here!

The entire weekend was very calming. The home was comfy and peaceful, especially with the trains. My brother in law grew up near train tracks and felt at home. The closeness to the ark was great also. Thank you for everything.

Our Second Stay Over
We love this very comfortable home that checks all the boxes. We stayed here during the winter storm with -7 degrees and the washer broke due to the line being frozen. Much to my surprise they had the maintenance man come to fix it during the storm! I had no expectations of them arriving with such expediency, but that is an example of the excellent service they provide. We look forward to our next visit soon.

Lovely home
We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home! The train track across the street was rough at night! Needed footstools and door curtains. Very clean and nicely stocked. Nice TV and coffee station! The inside was lovely but the outside when arriving at night was a little off putting. All in all a nice place!

We loved staying in this property! The inside of the home was cozy and beautifully decorated. We loved that there was a train theme carried through the home, including the train whistles, decor, and wooden train set for the kids to play with. There were many movies provided for watching as well as board/card games to play. Our boys got so excited every time a train came through! The home was well stocked with everything we needed and more! Comfortable furniture and beds. The home was also very clean. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend this place!
If you want to find a home away from home, this is the place to stay. There are thoughtful touches all around the immaculant home. The kitchen is very well equipped for those who love to cook. A crockpot, enameled dutch oven and cast iron pan is even provided. The beds are very comfortable with nice linen and blankets and we had no problem sleeping with the trains. We were pleased to find that the living room has new contemporary upholstery. The hosts truly thought of everything. We definitely will come back when we visit again soon.

Modern and Cozy Find for the Weary Traveler
We felt right at home in this modern yet cozy VRBO located in the beautiful Kentucky countryside. Check in / out instructions were easy to understand and simple. There was a custom chalkboard sign welcoming us. Very clean, modern, and well stocked for our needs - a welcome sight for us after traveling all day. Water, tea and coffee were provided along with a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds and furniture! This was close to the Ark Encounter, which we were visiting - and also close to other stores, restaurants and gas stations. Highly recommend!

Relaxing and comfortable stay.
The property was clean and nicely decorated. This 2 bedroom vacation property was perfect for our needs. It included a dishwasher, coffee maker, washer, dryer and many cleaning supplies for our needs. The living room was spacious for our family gatherings. Overall, the charm and comfort of our stay was fantastic. We will stay again when we are back in the area.
