The inn is very dated and needs a face lift. I was disappointed in the room as it felt it a bathroom with a bed in it. The only thing I liked was the shower. The price didn't include breakfast. I will not be staying there again.

Nice private entrance to the downstairs rooms. We wanted the cheapest room so we only got a queen sized bed and a shower rather than a king and a bath. It was pretty comfortable and just fine for a quick weekend getaway.

Great stay, will return!
Patrice contacted us to let us know the room was ready early, and met us at the door when we arrived! We were upgraded to a lovely room with an outside door and fireplace; wine glasses, corkscrew and fridge, private bath. It’s like a big house but more hotel than B&B. Comfy sitting area with fireplace. Located in a residential area across the road from train tracks (we did not see or hear any trains), and easy walk to a pub (good food), 7-11 and Cafe Ole for coffee. Patrice made coffee in the morning but we went for a walk earlier. We will go back, Royal Tyrell Museum of Palentology and the HooDoos are amazing.

This hotel advertises itself as a spa. In this case, the "spa" consists of a jacuzzi in the middle of the bedroom. The hotel owner was welcoming and friendly. He said that he asks all guests not to use the jacuzzi after 10pm. At midnight we were suddenly awakened by the sound of a jacuzzi directly above us. I went up the the 2nd floor and could hear the noise coming from one of the rooms. I knocked on the door, but there was no response. I then reluctantly called the desk number. The owner answered. I told him about the jacuzzi and that we were unable to sleep. He said "ok", which I took to mean that he would call the room. At this point it was 12:20. The noise nevertheless continued until 12:45, followed by the sound of water draining from the tub. The following morning when I checked out, I told the owner that we were not very pleased about being awakened and kept awake for almost an hour. I told him that I thought that we should receive a discount. He bluntly refused, stating that he was already giving Expedia a 15% discount. He said that he tells all guests not to use the jacuzzi after 10. That certainly didn't help in our case. We would not recommend this hotel.

Location is convenient, owner is very nice. But there is too many things and furniture in the room. The floor of the cottage is slanted with the headboard of the bed about 1-2 inches lower than the feet.

Pleasant surprise
We booked so we could go explore the museum and visit some friends, I found this place on Expedia. When we arrived we where thrilled that it was such a quaint and beautiful place. We where lucky to be upgraded to the honeymoon cottage which exceeded our expectations. Would recommend this place for anyone who would love a romantic get away for sure.
