"Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Dated, and a little dingy, but clean and comfortable. As with all downtown hotels the location was ideal for entertainment, but also close to homelessness. "

"Everything about the room was good but the checkout point left a bit to be desired. When I checked in on May 8th I was told by that person that there would be someone to check out the room on May 9th in order to get my $150.00 deposit back. Well when I got to 10:00 p.m. Pacific time and ready to check out the front desk clerk was hesitant to check out my room. He said that housekeeping does that in the a.m. I said (conveying frustration) that I needed to check out so I could get on a Amtrak at roughly 11:30 MST to go back to Chico, CA. The person eventually yielded to my request,but I just felt like nobody wants to do their job and provide customer service that is expected in certain cases. I think it has to do with another reason, but it is not for me to speculate. It just sounds like no communication between the morning front desk clerk and the evening front desk clerk. Other than that the stay was great."
