"What an incredible and comfortable place. The views, property and region were stunning. Loved the cottage and its decor and the peaceful easy energy that surrounded us. We stayed eight days and enjoyed many day trips throughout the region. Plus several days simply being in the awe inspiring space watching the tides come in and flow out. "Everything was perfect for us to enjoy the area and drive into clifden for restaurants and pubs for traditional Irish music. The road is a bit narrow towards the house the last bit but we did it slowly. We also enjoyed great meals at the nearby Connemara sands hotel just near the house."

"Sandy heels was the perfect place for my short break. Very well equipped with a nice comfy bed and cosy lounge. Perfect location, close to pubs and restaurants (I especially recommend the Shamrock bar). Easy to get to lots of beautiful locations. It was the perfect base to explore Connemara from. "Property is a compact and cosy house in rural setting. 15+ minutes walk to Ballyconneely which has a convenience store, coffee shop and pub/restaurant. Surrounding countryside is stunning. Guinness Beach is in walking distance and Dogs Bay Beach is 20 min drive. This is a must visit - the nicest Beach I've ever seen. Nearby Clifden (15 min drive) is a bustling town with plenty of shops and restaurants and it has a vibrant feel. We were lucky with the weather too which always helps."
