"I loved the stay. However, it is very particular experience some people may not be fond of! It is a bnb style, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. The property and breakfast was amazing. However, because it is an old building, you should not expect modern building style. I personally love small Italian village vibe, so I loved it."

"The hotel was in the best imaginable location perched on top of a hill with 360 degree views. Orvieto is a 20 minute drive away and can be seen from the hotel. "The Brufani is one of the oldest hotels in Perugia. The location is very centrally located, yet up on the Hill so not too congested. My room was a bit tired looking from a design standpoint, but it was an oversized suite overlooking the entire valley below and a medieval tower just feet away. Ask for room 138. They also have a lovely outdoor terrace for the perfect place for an aperitivo. The included breakfast is wonderful and the staff fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And stay there again. Perugia is a great base to stay and do trips around the Umbrian region. Simply Stunning and less crowds than Tuscany. "
