"the Riu Montego Bay was very clean. The service was very attentive and respectful. I would definitely stay again. However, I do believe that you need to watch who comes in and out of your lobby. My first stay, I was in the lobby and some Jamaican gentlemen picked me out of the crowd, walked up to me swiftly grabbed my hand, and said "You are beautiful, and I am going to be your boyfriend. He tried to lure me to his vehicle. He said he wanted to buy me a birthday gift. (I was celebrating my birthday, but I had not told anyone because I was traveling alone). Once I shouted NO out loud and attracted other people, he vanished. That frightened me so I only attended daytime events. The remaining of the nights I stayed locked in my room since I was traveling alone. I attended daytime events."

"The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was amazing. The beach was beautiful. My only complaint was that we were told it was non-smoking on the property and we were getting hit with blow by from weed and ecigs at the pool and beach. "

"I loved everything about the property. We celebrated my husband birthday and he had an amazing time. DJ slim was amazing he took time to interact with us , I even learned some new dance moves. The property is beautiful the food choices was remarkable. The only thing I would critique and hopefully it gets fixed our shower leaked everytime we took a shower, the seal under the door was missing this cause us having to put alot of towels on the floor to prevent us from slipping or potentially fall. The bathroom door was hard to close felt like it was off the henge, the fridge did not work. We didn't spend too much time in the room so it didn't ruin the experience. I loved to come back again with friends and family. "

"It's an older property, but very well mantained. This was our 2nd trip in 2 years, and they seem to be constantly improving the grounds. In my opinion, it has one of the nicest, and longests, beaches of the resorts in Montego Bay. We will be back next year. "
