"For the price it’s not a bad hotel—not perfect, but a great location. The hotel has 166 rooms, is right on the beach and has several pools, a tennis court and they serve microbrew beer at the pool (so far so good!). A good many of the rooms have a view of the beach and the ocean (if you ask, the front desk will do their best to accommodate you if your booking did not include this). "Well positioned a little outside of town which is too crowded and noisy at night. Free shuttles transport all day to beaches and town. Staff goes out of their way. Incredible breakfast. "

"Wonderful location, close to everything but far enough away for privacy. Each room has it's own entrance and feels like you are living in the most beautiful part of the Amazon. Rooms have hammock and private porch. Pool is beautiful and amenities are fantastic. Staff are so very kind and I thank everyone for the most beautiful experience. "

"When you first pull up, the hotel doesn't look all that attractive. The front desk people are very friendly. If you know Portuguese it helps. They do have one or two people that speak broken English. The rooms were more than I expected for the hotel. They had air conditioning and a safe in the room which was nice. The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled with a nice sized shower and tile all around. My only complaint about the shower was we could never really get any actual hot...

"Hotel is more family oriented and economic friendly. The staff is 10/10 and had many options to eat (all inclusive bf, lunch and dinner). The only issue was that the rooms could have been upgraded. For the price we paid, it is a real bargain. But I can see how people can not give it 5 stars. Kids running around, outdated bathroom and loud music until 10pm are not for everyone but they were fine for us. Gym could be a lot better. It was in a 10x15 room with outdated machines."
