"Me and my companions were expecting that the our room at La Carmela would have a hotel type of amenities. We were assigned to a top floor and and end of the bldg, and so much is lacking in the room, was it because I availed a promo rate thru Expedia? The hotel service, you have to wait for another 24 hrs to get your requested items. Thankful to the front desk who assisted us, she was very accommodating. "

Not sure how good the spa is, tried to go in twice to inquire/book but there were no staff available in the spa room. "I like the location close to everything. The security guards are very polite to the guests very nice gestures. The man in the reception name quino he made our stay very welcoming. The beds and pillows are comfy. The buildings are not high better for those who has fear of heights. Need a bit of paint on the inside the bathrooms cabinets but all in all very nice hotel. Definitely I will be going back to stay again."
