"The capsule bunked beds were nice and neat, but mattress too firm for us American who are used to soft mattress. The room is small, but neat. Walkable to train station, convenient stores, and shops. "

"A bit remote, buy the bus free pass to get around. Breakfast is basic they give u a plate of four bread items. Onsen is ok nice being outside. "

"The baths are fantastic. The room was beautiful. I wish the outdoor pool had been open. The maid did not clean my room even though I left a sign on the door to clean it. Aftert I reported it to the front desk, someone came in and folded the edge of the toilet paper but he or she did not clean the bathroom. "

We enjoyed the very authentic traditional Japanese food served at breakfast and dinner. The public onsen is fantastic and the area also includes a sauna and a cold plunge. Be aware that guests with large tattoos are not permitted. Would not recommend the Japanese traditional room for guests over 5’8ft as the doorways are very low. My boyfriend had hit his head numerous times....

"Good onsen ryokan. Service and the onsens were amazing. The kaiseki dinner was traditional and good, but wouldn’t say it was exceptional. Area near the ryokan is very picturesque and nice to roam around"
