"The hotel is located off an unpaved road high in the hill country. While the views are phenomenal, the location is far from the major attractions (e.g., tea plantations, waterfalls), especially given the nearby road conditions. The rooms themselves were small and basic in terms of furnishings. There is no A/C in the rooms, so the humidity is high and require opening windows. The closest village has limited dining options for tourists, so we ate on site. The food quality was 'ok' with a mix...

"We spent two nights here and we were comfortable even though the room was basic. Breakfast on the balcony was lovely. There’s a steep climb back home after going down to the main street, so you will give your calves a good stretch, but it’s worth it for the view of Little Adam’s Peak that you get in the morning. Overall a very good choice of accommodation in a small, quiet guesthouse. "

"Great location, right next to the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people. Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities. If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you. It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience. We enjoyed :)"

"Monkey's and birds were great...room was average. Could stand to clean construction debris from below the room. Beautiful environment around Ella...waaaay over developed! Alot of price gouging going on. I have no desire to return there. Thailand or Cambodia are much better deals from my experiences over the years."
