Castle Gardens 3 bed 4018
2.5 star property
5.0 out of 10, 2 reviews
"Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

Cottage in a beautiful setting overlooking Galway Bay
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 5 reviews
"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ballyvaughn. Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure."

"We loved our stay so much, we wished we booked this house longer! The history of the property we learned from the property manager was astounding. The views of the water, back garden, and lounging on the couch just looking at the walls around us were priceless. "Wonderful 3 br cottage with a wonderful view of the ocean. Excellent if you want to get away from the city. Lots of sights to see including a castle, seashore, cliffs and just enjoy nature. Ann, our hpst was extremely friendly and helpful and keeps the place immaculate. If you want a big city, Galway is about an hour drive, Limerick, just a little longer trip. Ann stocked the fridge with some treats and even brought over some really fresh bread. Grrat place and i highly recommend it."

Sea Mist, Idyllic Setting overlooking the Atlantic Ocean
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, 42 reviews
"Generously appointed, spacious and modern. I wouldn't hesitate to book Seamist for a longer time than the few nights we stayed. It was so difficult to move on - sunsets over the ocean, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings for long conversations, and a picturesque castle tower nearby. Nearby are so many engaging activities - the Cliffs, Aran Islands, hiking, biking, swimming, Doolin, Lisdoonvarna. Fantastic beds, lovely bedding and linens. On a quiet road, good access to walking paths....

"Our family had an amazing visit at Casa Ceoil! The property was full of life (dogs, horses, goats, cats, and chickens). The house was centrally located within the county so we were able to take day trips. After our adventures we would be greeted by Luna (the sweetest dog)! One of the mares had just given birth a week ago so we had the opportunity to visit with their new foal. The house was appointed well there was no need for anything it was well stocked with towels, dishes, ect. The house was...

"Stunning views from this beautiful updated home overlooking the fields of green, farms with sheep and cattle, the Burren and the Atlantic. Short drive into Doolin for dinner/lunch…both delicious, Russels and McDermotts Pub..recommended!
