"My fiancée and I stayed over the weekend and absolutely loved the place. The cabin is dog friendly which made it much easier to bring the pups on a trip with us. Communication was great, cabin was clean and comfortable!"

"We really enjoyed the cottage and its amenities. Everything was clean and working properly. The location was very convenient for what we wanted to do in the area. Our hosts were helpful and generous. We hope to stay again in warmer weather so we could get out into the lake more."

"My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway for his 40th birthday. We basically used it as home base as we explored the area during the day. It's a simple cottage but with a beautiful view. On our last night there, there was a big geomagnetic storm and we were so blessed to go out on the dock and watch the aurora for an hour and a half. It was the perfect location and the perfect end to our mini vacation."

"Me, my mom & sister stayed a long weekend for mothers day. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Check in was easy and communication with the host was top notch. The master bedroom is very nice, and the cabin itself is well laid out and very comfortable. We enjoyed downtown Lowell and a trip to meijer gardens in grand rapids (only a 20 min drive.) We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Newly remodeled location on lake with peaceful views was perfect for our family of 5 yet not too far from Grand Rapids for visitors during Thanksgiving time. We needed a place near our first granddaughter and glad we decided to stay here vs. Downtown GR."

"There were tons of things for all the cousins to do including the trampoline, the boats, the beach nearby and feeding the fish. Overall we would def stay again since i think the kids could have played even more. The kitchen was also really nice"

"The house was nice and cozy, and we had a good time. We really enjoyed kayaking the different lakes, and we look forward to going back again. The cons of this rental would be that the water is dark/weedy and you can't see into it. There was a swimming raft on the property, which did not have a ladder attached to it. I am not sure how someone could even climb onto said raft."

"This was our second time visiting Sand Lake and we are looking forward to it again next year. Our littles love going out on the dock and fishing, as well as playing in the water and on the private sandy beach. In a search of family friendly activities nearby, we found several options and are already planning our trip for next year! :)"

"The tragic death of my son over the summer prompted me to throw a huge Christmas for his children. The house was perfect for it. I brought Xmas decor and a tree, and the place looked great with it up. Bring your cameras, and fishing gear. We saw a bald eagle fishing right in front of the cottage and kingfishers trillin all over the place. My sons didn't bring a boat but cant wait to fish the lake."

"Overall its a good place. Beds were comfortable and living space was clean. The kitchen could use some attention regarding organization and deep cleaning. With that said, I would still rent there again."

"Our family of 7 very much enjoyed our 8-day winter stay. It is the 2nd time we have rented the house, and it suits us very well. The owner is great and is easy to contact. The 3-bedroom house overlooks a good-size lake, and it has loads of lake-side windows. The house is large with 2 spacious levels. This permits families to the opportunity for separate activities. While it's located in the country, it's not far from shopping and restaurants."

"We stayed at a two bedroom apartment with balcony. Assigned parking space in the garage was conveniently located close to the entrance of the building and elevator. Apartment very nice and clean, kitchen well equipped, two spacious bathrooms. Bedrooms are a good size with an extra small room for luggage. Beds have very comfortable mattresses. "
