"It was honestly a really great stay. The weekend was beautiful and we had a mountain facing room which made it even better. So much is within walking distance, it’s a very walkable city. The staff was friendly and patient and we had no problems. The elevator was a bit odd, but outside of that it was a wonderful place. We would absolutely stay here again."

"We really enjoyed our time in this house. We stayed in the fully furnished basement part of the house, but it did not feel like you were staying in the basement. Our dog absolutely loved looking out the big windows. The bed was super comfy! The bathroom had a huge shower. The kitchen was perfect for what we needed."

"Had a last minute opportunity to visit my daughter and looked at VRBO since I've always had great luck with them. Got to the property and found out that my room was 1/4 price per night. I paid VRBO more than 4 times what the hotel price was per night. Property was just barely OK. Pool was closed. Breakfast made my daughter violently ill which put a damper on the weekend. Feel stupid and taken advantage of...and yes, I am part of that responsibility so that is why I am writing this review...buyer...

"Thoughtfully decorated and stocked with all you could need for a visit. Beds were comfortable and the blinds and curtains did a nice job keeping the bedrooms dark for sleeping. Lots of extra towels and bedding should it be needed. Shidonna was quick to respond to two non-urgent texts. Location was good for our visit as it is close to family in Asheville, but keep in mind you’ll need to drive everywhere. "We enjoyed our stay at The Crow's Nest. The "cottage" was very clean, decorated nicely and provided everything we needed. The view from the family room was lovely. Wes and Leslie were very helpful giving us suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The area is quaint but close enough to Hendersonville, Black Mountain and Brevard that one could easily make day trips to these small towns. "The property is much better than in the photos. The appointments are very nice, right down to the framed photo in the bathroom. The most striking thing is how warm and comfortable it feels once you are inside. Convenient location for everything there is to see and do in Ashville.
