"For one person it was great. Clean and well organized. It took a little while to warm up but once it did it was cozy. The beds could use a thicker mattress and more blankets for cold weather. The only big problem was the tiny toilet. It was as small as one found in a kindergarten classroom. Over all the gabin was good"

"Darling little cabin tucked in the woods! Stayed for a long weekend and were able to shop, eat, hike and explore nearby White Sands very easily. Cloudcroft is a tiny little town that’s great for small exploration (definitely check out Noisy Water Winery.. great wine and kind staff) but Alamogordo is within 30min and has all your major shopping/pharmacy/grocery needs. "We used the Quiet Cloudrcroft Cabin as our base for hiking White Sands National Park and several trails near Cloudcroft before heading east toward Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The house is very cozy and comfortable with all the comforts of home. It's even better in person than it looks in the pictures!"

"I knew it was going to be a good trip when we had three bull elk walk across the road as soon as we pulled up to the driveway! The house was cozy and we enjoyed the elk and mule deer walking through the backyard during our visit. We enjoyed shopping in Cloudcroft and hiking some of the Lincoln National Forest trails, as well as visiting the White Sand Dunes during sunset. Beautiful area and would definitely rent this home again."

"Lovely older cabin with modern necessities, (heat, hot water, electric.) Semi-secluded but near main road to Cloudcroft. Beautiful views off front porch where deer and elk appear in the evening and early morning. Pool table in the basement provided entertainment. Overall a comfortable, rustic getaway in the Lincoln National Forest. Make sure you get detailed instructions on how to access the cabin."

"The host was helpful. The place was cozy and had plenty of room. The hot tub was warm. The town of Cloudcroft was friendly. We enjoyed BBQ and Brother in law BBQ and drinks at Western Bar. Very enjoyable experience all around. It even snow a few inches while we were there."
