"We spent the night on the way to NC to open our cabin for the summer. This is the 2nd time we've used this hotel. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. They had just cleaned the carpets and regularly keep the property clean & maintained which is why we return."

Loved Clayton. Had a great meal at Fortify Pi and walked around. Music and fireworks. Great little town.

I was very impressed with the town people very friendly and helpful . Love the waterfalls at the state park.And the food in the restaurants .......i never had country cooking it was really good . I can't wait to visit again

The town is great but we did not have any good experiences with the food! Rumor Hazit was horrible. We didnt our food. We were served whole baby squid as calamari. We left after waiting for our food for hour and it never came.
