Booked and paid for King room in February for May and was given a double Queen upon arrival and told it was the last room available because they are full. No effort to accommodate dissatisfaction. Charged and paid same amount. A friend did the exact same for the night and got her king room on that night as reserved.

We like that it was in walking distance to the attraction we were going to. we had two problems with the hotel, 1- we could never connect to the wi-fi 2-when I tried checking in online the day before it would not work. when I mentioned it to the person when we got there she said that it did not work at that hotel.

The hotel room was ok but they need to amp up the cleanliness of the hotel its the little things like no trash bags in trash cans and no ice on floor 6 ice machine

My only complaint would be that the facility didn’t have a lot of towels on hand a couple of times, and that was a bit frustrating but, other than that the place was quiet and pretty comfortable to be in the beds I had were quite nice and clean the room was clean as well and the showers were amazing.

Had a great time.
Close to everything. Walked to the aquarium and most food destinations. Only recommendations would be the following. They do have breakfast for additional charge. Parking is convient. But you have to pay an extra fee. 1. The tv. Channel guide does not match and many channels to not work. 2. The bathroom light situation. Its all or none. Which woke me up many times. 3. Bathroom door. Does not latch and very loud. 4. No microwave in room.

Nice clean place
Very nice, clean, convenient hotel. Location is perfect for a trip to the aquarium. You can walk to the aquarium, meals, movies, bowling and ect. I’ve stayed here 3 times. The staff is very friendly. The indoor pool is nice and clean. My only complaint is the pool water temp was a little cold for me (but I’m 65). The grandchildren didn’t mind the temp until they got out. The pool rooms’ temp was good. But each time I’ve went there it was in Feb. I will cont to stay at the Aloft.

Location was all they really offered
The hotel was very modern, it was nice but staff want very polite or inviting and you have to pay extra for parking when you’re already paying premium prices for the stay. Water pressure was lacking and hot water was hit or miss. Location was convenient and all that was worth paying those kind of prices for. We asked for extra towels and were told there weren’t any. If you have to use the toilet in the middle of the night, you will wake the whole room up due to the LED lights all being on 1 switch. Walls are paper thin, you can hear way more than you want to. The on room fridge made awful noises to the point of waking you up. The bed was not very comfortable. The room was clean and nice, but not worth the price. They had “made to order” breakfast in the morning but none of it was “made to order”. My husband asked for something without Avocado and he was told “no, that’s all we have”.

Our stay
While the location was perfect for where we were going and the staff was great, there were a couple of issues. The sliding door on the bathroom would not close all the way and the soap dispenser in the shower was broke, so no soap. The shower put out lukewarm water at 8 am. But the room was very clean.

It was a great just relaxing trip. I love being able to bring my dogs. Many people didn't even know they were there. I spilt some soda and needed bed changed. Was told sorry no house keeping available. But would change rooms. So that was kinda a ohhh ok remark. Who wants to change rooms at 3am.?

I Guess I'm Too Old for Post Modernist Minimalism
Staying over Christmas was probably a variable. We were informed there was housekeeping/change of towels etc. only on request. It seemed to be a skeleton crew but they were all very pleasant persons. The room design left a lot to be desired in my opinion. Minimal drawer space...two office desks but only one office chair. A convenient location given the reasons for my trip. I sense it is a pied-a-terre type of hotel for persons doing business or attending events in the downtown Cincinnati area. One last thought...it's nice that the hotel is pet friendly but please vacuum up the kibble left by the previous occupants' dog.
