"This property was super nice and in an adorable area. Being able to have our pup was a plus, and we enjoyed walking her in the neighborhood. There are lots of conveniences nearby and it’s an easy drive to get on Highway 69. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Because I spaced an important detail, I made a last minute request of the host that she would’ve been totally fair to decline, and she was very accommodating. We had a wonderful stay!"

"This historical house was truly a gem! We had a blast spending time here for our daughter's graduation from Indiana Tech. "The house was in good shape and well suited for a large group. We had 10 that slept comfortably. Property manager responded promptly. Some minor misinformation on the VBRO site (likely just out of date) such as an incorrect WiFi password and sending the door code the day prior to arrival, but these were minor things that were resolved promptly with no issue. Overall an enjoyable experience and a nice setting on the lake. Some nearby gunshots in the early morning hours both days could be heard......

"We were in the area for a hockey weekend in Fort Wayne but we would 100% return for a longer stay when it gets warm. The house was very clean and described perfectly. My husband loved the little town and was able to get in a very scenic 15 mile run. Marion is an amazing host and extremely communicative. 12/10! Would stay again!"

The owner supplied free firewood for the late nights outside while the deck at the waterfront and large docking area for the boats was appreciated much as well . "Beautiful hotel and very kind employees. Parking was free and connected by a cat walk which made it easy to avoid people because we were traveling with dogs. Walkable to the ball park and close to historical sights too. Fireworks at the ball park were amazing! Great food within blocks. NY pizza and an Irish pub, yum! Everything was clean and tidy and updated. Great stay, we will stay again."
