Great week in Chiusdino
We spent a very enjoyable week in picturesque Chiusdino. Loved the little town with shops and restaurants (our tip: il minestraio!) within walking distance and great views of the countryside. Went to Siena, Firenze and San Gimignano and walked to the abbey of San Galgano. The house is spacious with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is equipped with plenty of towels. We had the (guilty) pleasure of the pool with a great view and used the outside dining area a lot. Tip: An extra cutting board and a sharp knife would be great. Grazie Paolo!

Leuk vakantiehuis
Leuk huis dat onderverdeeld is in 4 appartementen. Dat haal je niet uit de advertentie, het lijkt dat je het voor je alleen hebt. Echt een gezellig Italiaans appartement met leuk zwembad. Dorp is 5 minuten lopen maar ligt verder best ver overal vandaan. Je bent al snel een uur onderweg naar een leuk plaatsje. Het dorp zelf is erg leuk met hele smalle stijle straatjes en tunneltjes. Geweldig uitzicht!

Prachtig
Chiusdino is werkelijk een prachtig stadje. Er zijn vele uitstapjes mogelijk naar oa Siena, Firenze, Pisa maar ook rijden door de Chianti velden is een aanrader. De accommodatie ligt erg mooi en zeker als je op de eerste etage verblijft heb je vanaf het balkon een schitterend uitzicht. Het zwembad is echt zoals de foto's laten zien wel moet je dit delen met de bewoners en hun vrienden, in het appartement zelf zijn twee slaapkamers en een bedbank in de woonkamer/keuken. Voor 4 personen heb je dus privacy maar voor vijf of zes personen moet je dus uitwijken naar de woonkamer/keuken wat niet echt prettig is Het appartement is verder ruim behalve de douches maar al met al is het genieten!

het appartement was zeer stoffig overal, de geur was muf en stof, zeker niet geschikt voor 6 volwassenen, er zijn 4 bedden, een slecht plooibedje en een oud zetelbed. de eettafel was te klein voor 5 personen en het kookmateriaal was alles behalve, versleten tefalpannen (ongezond).

Het betreft een vakantiewoning waarin zowel 2 vakantieverblijven zijn alsook 2 woningen met locale bewoners. De woning is redelijk ruim: ruime slaapkamers, dito badkamer (wel een krappe douchecel), een kleine extra badkamer en een woon/eetkamer. We vonden vooral de locatie erg leuk: op loopafstand van het gezellige centrum van het middeleeuwse stadje Chiusdino.

A wonderful stay in the heart of Toskana
Very nice flat. Well equipped, clean, no glamour but everything you need. A quiet place in a little typical tuscany village. With a wonderful refreshing pool, clean and private, with sun and shadow as you wish. All this in a well maintained villa with for rented flats. So with a little luck kids will find some new friends as well. The landlord is very helpful end engaged, you can reach and ask him for support at any time.
