the hotel is very dated and could do with an upgrade, food was mediocre and there isn't anything close to the hotel anything touristy is a bit of a drive away.

"Everything was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our driver Johnny was very informative and shared a lot of information about Costa Rica and hotel Parador!"

"This propperty was absolutely beautiful and all of the staff, especially Kevin, were wondervul. The views and funny animals during the tasty breakfast were fun too and the beach access (10 min walk) was enjoyable. We spent several hours there one day. "

"Our stay at Camino Verde was great! The staff was awesome as they gave us a thorough check-in of the property as well as a good introduction to Monteverde and the various activities. They were super helpful in booking outside activities and giving their personal recommendations (Thanks Jaustin!). Our room was quaint but fit the two of us and was clean. The only minor issue we encountered was the Wi-Fi was intermittent and spotty into the room. "

"My husband and I spent 5 nights at this beautiful hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff and a delicious welcome drink. The room was beautiful, clean, and had a peaceful stream running in the back. It was so amazing sitting on the balcony and refreshing your feet after a long day exploring and adventuring. The restaurant was amazing and had a ton of options for vegetarians like myself. The food and cocktails were DELICIOUS and the service was immaculate! We had relaxing massages on site enjoyed the many trails around the hotel. Additionally, the front desk staff helped us organize different activities with local tour guides. No negatives here. Would definitely recommend this gorgeous resort and hope we are lucky enough to visit once again! Pura Vida!"

"The staff was remarkable. The layout makes for a great outdoor experience. Drawbacks: the shower stopped working and the replacement room shower didn’t have any hot water."
