Not worth it! First of all, Expedia fails to disclose the 13,000 COP tourist tax, and this was billed as a surprise, and nobody at the hotel could properly explain it to me. They had me email a manager, but I got no response. The next morning, they put me on the phone with him and he explained that I need to contact Expedia. Can't fault them for that. I stayed here because my Airbnb was nice in Getsemani, but really loud at night in the streets. Manga is much more quiet, there is way less to do, and this place is just not worth the price. There are better options for the price. The only benefit really is the quiet location. It is down the street from a cheap spa, an awesome large grocery store with everything you need, and a walking path along the water at the marina. There is a kitchen so you can make tea or coffee and they have cups and a microwave as well. Main reasons I would not stay here: 1. Ants (they are everywhere), including roaches that I saw a few of in the halls during my stay. 2. The bathroom smells of sewage and if you leave your bathroom door open and go out, your whole room smells of sewage. Water is not hot, by the way, in case you wanted a hot shower, which is at a premium in Cartagena. 3. The stairs going up are a bit narrow. I imagine they are an issue if you are older or carrying heavy bags. They narrow on opposite sides. 4. Your window must stay closed (not glass). 5. There is no real terrace, just what you see in the pic.

Trivelig sted
Litt småslitent sted. Veldig trivelig betjening, til tross for begrensede engelskkunnskaper. Fin bakgård med ok basseng. Rolig nabolag. Flott beliggenhet til det meste (gåavstand til Gamlebyen).

Rigtig søde og meget hjælpsomme. Hotellet ligger dejlig roligt i gåafstand til restauranter, butikker og alt. Også fInt med køleskab på værelset.

(Terrible experience !) Pesima experiencia ! Cobran el doble I book this hotel and when I got there in the evening after a long flight the check in was a nightmare the guy in the desk ask me to pay more money and In the end the full amount was exactly what I could pay for a better hotel than this old house with a dirty pool he was so rude and the lobby doesn’t have AC so I was sweating for like an hour to get my room The hotel was empthy but I know why because of the bad service i decided to leave and book another hotel while I was there even thought they charge my credicard but I wasn’t going to stay in this place .choose another option don’t waste your time and money with this place

Dear Mr. Josh, First of all thank you for your comments that in any case help us improve. We must bear in mind that in this case it is not a constructive criticism but a bad comment for not having accepted the imposition of an additional discount to your reservation. We will answer you in parts: 1) We do not charge double, we charge exactly the value in COLOMBIAN PESOS. You wanted us to charge you in USD but that is not possible because we must charge exactly the value that confirms your EXPEDIA reservation and this value appears in COLOMBIAN PESOS and not in USD. 2) The receptionist showed you in your reservation the exact value of your reservation and the value of the tourist tax that you did not want to pay either and that if you came to your voucher. 3) The pool is ALWAYS CLEAN and it is absolutely false that it was dirty. 4) The house is not old, it is a hotel that as it appears in the photos is not different from the images. 5) Your reservation was NON-REFUNDABLE and obviously the full reservation was charged as your voucher contemplated. 6) You did not leave, you stayed all the stay you had reserved and intended to expand your reservation but with a price much lower than what you had paid. As you indicated, you did not have more money to invest and we could not accept your proposal. We made a reservation in a HOSTEL in the same area and with shared beds where your budget was accepted. Normally we do not accept threats nor do we accept proposals to have good comments in exchange for discounts or price reductions.
