Property is very clean, has the basics and communication with the owner was super easy. The saloon-style doors for the downstairs bathroom were a little unexpected, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property for a long weekend."

"This was a return trip for friends of 40+ years. Everything was the exact same: bright, clean, and airy. The kitchen has anything you could need to cook a meal (we made two dinners, the second bbq-ing steaks on the grill). The bathrooms are well-stocked and clean. We love this place. So serene. "Host had the cabin very clean. New leather couch & recliner. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Washer & Dryer were excellent. Another Rental house near, long-term renters were very quiet. Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality."

The home is supplied with anything and everything you would need for your stay. Having the fenced in backyard was perfect for our pup to run and the neighborhood is fairly quiet. Thank you!"

"We were lucky enough to be able to book this beautiful restored home on the weekend of the eclipse. It's spacious—each of us had our own room—and quaint. Everywhere you turned, the details take you back to the turn of last century. We might have liked to have a stove, but the microwave and hot plate are sufficient. "This was exactly what we needed for our trip!! My partner and I are rock climbers, we visit this area often to climb at the Holy Boulders in Pomona, and we came up at this time to see the eclipse. Usually we camp or stay up in Carbondale, but we are already looking at coming back here for our next trip!
