We have not stayed at this hotel because the receptionist(maybe the owner)said that she prefered to cancel our reservations.Maybe because my wife told her that the room has not black out and was very noise.

Best place in town.
Restaurant.....eat pizza or calamari. Both very good. Room....typical issues with hot water in shower...typical for instant on which is normal for Costa Rica. Sink only had cold water. Coffee was very good. Local water was not potable and hotel did not provide bottled water. No ice machine. Breakfast was good. Beds very comfortable. A/C worked well. Staff very nice. Daily maid service. Could use more lounge chairs at pool. Cahuita main street lit up like daytime at night so no worries about being out at restaurants after dark. Bug repellent is a good idea. Wifi very slow, I used my Kolbi phone hot spot. All in all a good experience...did I say pizza is their specialty?

We stayed six nights. Everyone was nice. The rooms are super clean and they cleaned the pool constantly even if it was raining. The grounds are well kept and the howler monkeys came by to eat in the morning but didn't make noise. The only noise was a rooster down the street that crowed at 3:00am. The food was good and we will stay here again without question. If you don't want to be in the crowded area of Puerto Viejo then this is the place to be.

Very comfortable little stay if planning on visiting the southeast side of Costa Rica. Didn’t get to try their food but did go to a restaurant down the road which was great. Would stay here again if visiting Cahuita.

Best rooms in Cahuita but not in front of beach
The rooms were modern, big and comfortable. The owners were nice. I was expecting it to be in front of the beach though, however it was at least in front of the sea and 300 meters from Playa Blanca and 500 meters from Playa Negra. Check out was at 11am and they don't allow late check outs which I didn't like because I was only traveling for a weekend. I wanted to stay longer to visit other nearby beaches and due to their check out time, I wasn't able to enjoy the rest of the day at the beach.

Great property - safe, kind staff, wildlife, waves
We had a wonderful stay at Cahuita Inn. Though the town of Cahuita might not be for everyone, this hotel is a gem! The property is safe, well kept, well staffed, and beautiful. There are hammocks strung up among the trees, a refreshing pool on the property, and you can hear the waves from your room. We spotted many birds, sloths, and monkeys right outside our door and Cahuita National Park entrance is a 5 min walk away.

Sparkling new hotel with great view of the ocean.
Because they were booked up, we could stay only one night here before moving to a nearby hotel for the next 3 nights. The spacious room was spotless if somewhat minimalist. I use a mobility scooter and the accessible bathroom was excellent with proper grab bars next to the toilet and a roll-in shower. The hotel is run by Giuseppe and his wife from Ravenna, Italy where we had happened to visit a few years ago. The also happen to run the best restaurant in Cahuita at the hotel. The chef is Giuseppe who prepares real Italian thin-crust pizza as good as anything served in Napoli. The pastas are equally delicious. I recommend the shrimp fettucine alfredo. They have a resident sloth that we happened to see (photo attached). For breakfast we sat outside on the porch and watched several species of birds while enjoying a delicious desayuno. The sea was crashing on the beach a few hundred yards away.

Best hotel in Cahuita
Great little hotel, beautiful new rooms. Probably the best rooms in Cahuita and one of the best on this coast, and we've seen several. Owners are very nice. Great resturant on site serving dinner and plenty of other resturants within walking distance. Beautiful ocean view but sea too rough and access difficult because of large rocks and corals. We visited in July and there was no visibilty anywhere on the coast for snorkling but weather was good with rain only at night.Good beach at the enterance to the park or at Playa Negra, both 5 minutes walk. Sea in this coast was a little rough in July and not what I was expecting.
