Great Hotel. Rooms: Big rooms. A bit outdated but clean and big rooms. Beds and pillows good quality. Everything very clean. The bathroom was enormous with a big tub. Breakfast: basic but good enough, the croissants were very tasteful. Location is great. Right in the center. We paid a good price therefor we have no negative comments.

Nice spacious rooms and good bathrooms, and all clean as to be expected, but the balcony windows have zero sound insulation so you can hear everything going on in the street, unlike some other local hotels with sound proofing, and if you have guests staying in rooms on your corridor you'll hear them slamming doors too if they're aren't mindful of others.

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Octavia. It is in a great location, unfortunately, you have to pay for parking. It would be nice to have free parking with your stay.

A short stay in Hotel Octavia, Cadaques
We had mixed feelings about our short (4 day) stay at the Hotel Octavia in Cadaques. On one hand the hotel was spotless and comfortable and, as advertised, very central. However, the room we had overlooked a very busy and noisy street so we were constantly being woken up very early in the morning. On one occasion there was also extremely loud impromptu music blaring on the street until early in the morning so we got very little sleep that night. The staff were very helpful, polite and attentive and the breakfast was adequate if simple. The bedroom was cleaned and tidied each day. The parking is a bit inconvenient as it was a short walk from the hotel but that is the way in Cadaques as there is very little parking in the town. Overall, Cadaques is very beautiful and unspoiled and worth a visit. Bring swimming shoes for the stony beaches and coves if you want to swim in the sea. We would use Hotel Octavia again as it was good value but next time insist on a room facing the courtyard.

Idyllic-once you park the car
HARD to find if you have a car, even with GPS. But once you get your car situated, it’s a great hotel with lots of character, in an ideal location , at a great price. Helpful staff, with plenty adequate language skills. Hope to return some day.
Harbor is about two blocks away. Great dining and boutique shopping options. Walkable everywhere.

Octavia Hotel, very poor
Very poor tired hotel. It was clean but badly needs refurbishment. Parking was off site and 10 euros a day. There was a safe in the bedroom, but the hotel charge 4 euros a day to use, that is disgusting. The breakfast was adequate but very very poor quality. Staff were not particularly friendly. No outside space. Would not stay here again, for the price there are far better hotels. I dont understand how in the past it has received such good ratings. Hotels.com need to take notice of my review

Great Location and hotel.
We stayed in a family room in July 2021. Great hotel. Location is great near the sea and lots of restaurants. There is parking available for a fee. I would recommend cadaques for a visit very quaint.

To be honest was expecting less but we were actually quite happy with our room and breakfasts offer. Room and terrace was actually quite spacious. Position of hotel was in centre and definitely if we come back will check in this hotel again.

Simple, but nice hotel.
The hotel felt clean overall even though it did have ants around the bathroom shower. Service was very warm and breakfast was great. The bed was two twins pushed together, which moved and separated easily during the night. The location is convenient to everything, but was next to a restaurant/bar. The patrons and music from the bar could be heard all night. It is a very simple room, but comfortable as long as you aren’t looking for a lot of perks and amenities.
