"The grounds are beautiful, pool is very nice. The place needed maintenance and cleaning. There was so many “things” (knick-knacks, old furniture,useless kitchen items)making it look quite messy. The driveway was very steep and extremely bumpy."

"Live like a local, in the thick of things, yet in a house that is quiet and cool. WE stayed in end of June, and swam every day among the bees smothered lavender. the house is close to Como, Milan, and Varese, and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners are very nice, and were around when we needed things. Lots of grocery stores, and restaurants close by. L’emplacement est intéressant, proche de l’autoroute, des commerces et surtout d’une plage bien agréable du lac Majeur (10 minutes à pied) Seul bémol, la plupart des chambres donnent sur la rue et sont bruyantes la nuit Cristina est très réactive. "Our family was fortunate enough to rent Villa Olivia in Meina for most of August. The villa was extraordinary, perched on a hill overlooking Lago Maggiore. We only have wonderful things to say about the home, from the impeccable accommodations, warm pool (heated), sauna and lots of room to enjoy the days and evenings as a family. The owner, Sara, was quick to respond to every need and went out of her way to make suggestions for sightseeing, trips to the mountains and finding the best beaches....

"The property was everything it advertised to be...the setting and interior were absolutely stunning and well kept. Everything was clean and inviting for our family of 15. Large rooms, nice bedrooms & bathrooms and well-stocked kitchens. We spent a week during the Christmas holiday, and they greeted us when we arrived and even set up a beautiful Christmas tree for our family. "Overall description was accurate. Parking was an issue. Parking for us was down the slope and on the public road. If you are packing a crib, this property is not for you. Plan on a steep walk to get to the house. This was a concern during night hours. Washer was available; however, we could not stand the oder, so we never used it."

"Very comfortable stay. The staff was helpful. The room was very spacious and despite being on the first floor, it was very quiet. Location is convenient to train station and metro so was super easy to get around. Some nice neighborhood restaurants. Laundry room in lower level a big plus. Free water, espresso, tea, croissants and cookies were a nice touch. Only drawback is that area around hotel itself is not very busy with pedestrians at night so felt a little isolated at night.
