"Once we figured out the panel on the front door was the keypad that needed a firm touch when pressing the code, everything else was smooth sailing. Perfectly stocked with everything one would need for a getaway—all you need to bring is food and drinks. The large old Bible was a precious find, and I enjoyed leafing through that. Hey, Google provided tunes of our choosing, and the internet was a lifesaver as cell service is basically nonexistent (at least with my carrier T-Mobile). Nice cabin to...

"What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well....

"The cabin was equipped very well for cooking meals of any size. We enjoyed our thanksgiving meal and then some. The cabin was family friendly. We loved the views and just how comfortable and homey the feeling was. When we left we actually felt the deer saying goodbye to us all. Going to make this a yearly tradition. "Very clean not even cobwebs on the high ceilings! Cozy but spacious. The stairs to the loft bedroom are so neat. Decorated very well. The large new deck has great views of Mtns/lake. We got to hear rain on the metal roof and see lightning bugs in the trees. Host was a fantastic communicator. There is a great list of things to do in the area on the fridge. 3 adults stayed comfortably with our own rooms and there is 2 living rooms. Definitely 5 stars worthy!!"

"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and it was perfect for the two of us. It was cozy, clean, and convenient to fish spring marina( like 4 min) , and it’s definitely private. Only suggestion I have is add some mixing bowls. We cooked our own dinner, but had no bowls to put things in… ( unless I missed it?) Overall- this is exactly as it looked, we loved it, we will be back. Tony was amazing, answered questions right away.. Thanks for a great stay Tony!"

"Came to Damascus to do the VA Creeper Trail. This cabin is only a few miles from downtown Damascus so it was super convenient. Just a touch off the beaten path and it was perfect! Nice open living room with high ceilings, pullout couch, cute bedroom downstairs, loft with 2 twin beds upstairs. Balcony off the back is perfect for coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings. We will definitely be staying here again! Owners are very responsive and checkin/out was a breeze!"

"We were so happy with our stay at the Driftwood Lodge. There was plenty of room for everyone to have some personal space. My kids (12 & 16) enjoyed playing ping pong and air hockey downstairs. We were also able to enjoy the canoe! It is a nice neighborhood for walking in the evenings with beautiful views of the lake. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope to visit again!"

"The perfect hideaway for peace and quiet - but only a short drive off the property to anything. The house was so accommodating and we enjoyed listening to rain on the metal roof after 2.5 days by the firepit in the heart of the forest. So much fun!!"
