Let me tell you something Jack!, if you don’t have a rental car, you can kiss your freedom of mobility goodbye on this island! Like all other resorts, Margaritaville is surrounded by low income that require some sort of transportation to get around. It’s real out here in these streets! Don’t get me wrong, the property is picturesque, but like all things in life, it’s all an illusion. If you an older traveler be sure to tell them that. Like other reviewers have mentioned, there are a crap ton of steps. I lost 3lbs due to the amount of steps I traversed on the property, and they was with the extra, delicious, delectable food I ate throughout the entire trip! Staff was great, room was clean, and the vibe was chill. Leave your American privilege at home and you definitely will enjoy yourself! I would stay again!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cove is beautiful, well maintained beach area, and not nearly as busy as public beaches on the island. We had so much fun snorkeling every day. We highly recommend and will certainly be back!
