Property was very clean and organized. We found everything we needed to cook and enjoy our stay. Having rental property myself I understand how hard it is to keep everything stocked. Only suggestion would be have lifejackets accessible and the kitchen needs more wine glasses. We would book again!

The pictures do not do this getaway justice!
We decided on a last-minute Christmas trip and stumbled upon this listing. We fell in love the location so we booked it! We arrived at dark so we weren’t able to fully take in the surroundings until the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves on such a huge piece of property that butts right up to the lake. It was beautiful, even during the rain. And while the listing photos showed the proximity to the lake and what’s on the property, it’s so much better (and bigger) in person. The home had everything we needed in terms of utensils, plates, cookware, sheets, towels, spices, etc. We did make a run to Dollar General, which proved to be a beautiful drive, for a few additional provisions. I would recommend bringing your own paper towels and toilet paper. We spent the mornings looking out over the water and enjoying the sights and evenings in the cozy den. And we brought our pets—it was more than enough space for us all! We cannot wait to come back when it’s warmer and take full advantage of all this listing has to offer!

Fall Break Getaway
My family enjoyed a wonderful several days at this property! There were 6 of us total, one of which was 3 years old. All instructions were provided, from rental info to check-in to what to do with towels and trash to check out (with a lot inbetween). Having everything as far as instructions was a big stress reliever prior to getting there on down to checking out. If we had questions, it was answered by the instructions which was wonderful! We enjoyed spending time outside on the upper deck, in the hot tub, on the boat, by the fire pit, and grilling on the deck. We also found some board games in one of the bed room closets, which always helps when entertaining a 3 year old! The house itself was very clean, beds were comfy, all kitchen utensils needed were provided, and the keurig was a life saver! I, and my family, had the best time and would highly recommend!!!

Property was better than advertised. The house had a great upstairs/downstairs layout and was bigger than the pictures show. Great location on a protected cove directly on the lake. Had one question about boat when we arrived and response time was less than two minutes! Really enjoyed our stay and hope to get back there next year.

Wonderful Family Getaway
Our entire family was able to enjoy our stay, even the four legged members! The house was in a great location and had everything we needed. It was rainy most of our time there, but we still found time to take out the boat and fish. Having the boat was an amazing add on that I highly recommend! For those that fish - we caught some nice sized stripped bass! We spent a lot of time on the upstairs covered deck. Even in the rain, it was relaxing to read, talk, and listen to nature. The fireplace added a cozy touch as well. The kitchen had a healthy stock of appliances and cookware. We did call the owner/manager a couple of times as the boat lock code wasn't working and they answered the phone promptly(thank you)! The location is nice and quiet as well. The paved driveway was also a plus. We have rented a lot of lake homes and found this to be one of the best. The water depth is great for jumping off the end of the deck too. The boat was well maintained and we ran it about 4-6 hours per day. Overall, our stay was wonderful.

We had an amazing stay. This was our 2nd time at the cabin and we look forward to our 3rd. Everything was perfect! The pontoon boat was very nice. We enjoyed going out on the lake and the weather was great!

Great family getaway!
This is a wonderful home in a terrific spot! The home was perfect as I was traveling with my elderly mother in law and elderly parents who have a hard time with stairs. The only downside for us was the bathroom upstairs was a tub/shower combo which was difficult for them to navigate but we made it work since downstairs is a walk in shower and the stairs outside are wide and easy to navigate. Home is better than the photos and property manager is very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Lovely week on the lake
We enjoyed our week at this property. The house is absolutely gorgeous and sparkling clean. Everything was in good working order and Lori provided all the basics such as soaps, paper products, trash bags, etc. The hot tub and fireplace were our favorite features because it was quite cold while we were there. The original pontoon boat wasn't available, but the caretaker Mike provided us with a substitute. Mike and his wife stopped by when we first arrived and it was very nice to meet them. Went into Blairsville (About 20 minute drive) a couple of times and visited some of the trails in the area. Overall, we had a great visit and would recommend staying at this property.

Escape the Florida Heat
Great location on the lake and everything was well maintained. It was just what we needed to be able to relax and enjoy a break from everyday life. A very reasonably priced pontoon boat was available and was used every day to cruise beautiful Nottley Lake. We are planning an return trip in the spring.

Lovely Small Lakehouse
Wonderful trip, great cabin. We rented when it was still owned by Lori High. I think it’s about to change hands and still be rented. Very clean, and very beautiful lake. We would rent it again for up to six people.

Perfect lake retreat
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house has everything you need and is clean and very comfortable. It’s located right on the water. We loved boating, kayaking & fishing. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub. The caretaker, Mike was very friendly and helpful. The entire family had a great time and we hope to return!

Lori and team never fail to deliver a wonderful worry-free experience !! The home was immaculate as always and the property manager (Mike) is absolutely phenomenal. Not only does he check in with you to make sure that everything is great… he even gives you pointers on the fishing in the area! If you are looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful time in nature on a beautiful lake in a beautiful home, with plenty of water toys…this is the place ! Looking forward to our trip again next year!

Relaxing get away
Great property! This is our 2nd trip here and we really enjoyed it both times. The use of the pontoon boat is a perfect addition! Very relaxing sitting on porch overlooking the lake. Mike (property manager lives next door) is a jewel and very helpful. House has everything you could possibly need. Clean, relaxing, and fun. Only downside was this trip there was a bachelor party in the house next door and if we were outside it was pretty loud at night. Otherwise, all was perfect. I would highly recommend.

This house was perfect for the 6 of us. Even though the forecast called for a lot of rain we actually were blessed with good weather. The boat was the highlight of the week. The top deck is really nice with a great table for meals and playing games. The house was very clean and kitchen well equipped. The Caretakers Mike & Heather live next door and they are so helpful and a really sweet family. We hope to return next year. Thanks Jim & Lori for having such a great house to rent.

This was by far the best place we have stayed on our Mountain vacations. The house was spotless! The boat was wonderful and the care givers next door were so nice and helpful. The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked with anything you could possibly need. We had a great vacation.

Perfect House with all the amenities
Modern house with all the extras. We used almost everything except the firepit because it's summer! The grill worked great, awesome deck. Good house layout for group time or if you want to find some solo space. Dock is huge and the swimming is great. The sun goes behind the trees in the afternoon so that sitting in the dock is cool and very peaceful.

Gorgeous home, beautiful location!
This was our second time staying in this cabin. It's a perfect place to get away for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 full-sized teens) plus a dog. The cabin is adorable and very clean. All appliances, furniture, etc. seem new and of very nice quality. Very comfy and includes everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The master bed is so comfy!! The deck is really large -- we spent a lot of time out there. The boat dock is great for fishing, swimming, lounging. Beautiful view of the lake and mountains from the dock! The best part is having a pontoon boat available for use the entire time we stayed there! The hosts are very friendly and easy to reach. All communications were very timely. We will definitely stay there again.

From a smooth check-in until our final minute in the house, this stay is what we needed. If there were any concerns Lori was a call away or Mike, who lives next door, provided a quick fix. The toughest part was realizing that it would be a full year before we could enjoy the residence again.

Beautiful lake and surroundings. House is charming. The master bed was very comfortable. The steps/walkway to the lake are a challenge. It was easier to walk down the hill then using the steps. I would recommend this home.

Perfect as always!
We've stayed at multiple lake front properties owned by Lori and Jim and they are always perfect. The kitchens are fully stocked, the homes are beautiful, and we always enjoy their boats. This cabin was cozy with beautiful lake views and great upgrades throughout. Mike lives next door and is just wonderful. We didn't need his services during this trip, but we always enjoy chatting with him. Can't wait to come back!

Heaven on Earth!!
During these hectic times, Pine Cone Cove was just what the doctor ordered!!! We had a wonderful time and it brought back memories of our travels to the lake districts in Poland!! Spring Break Road Trip
The property is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing! It had more than enough room for a family of four, even on a rainy day indoors! We especially loved the fully functional kitchen that came in handy for making all our meals. While outdoors, we had a blast using the kayaks, sitting on the Adirondack chairs watching the sun rise (and set), cooking smores over the fire pit and hanging out in the hot tub! We also spent time hiking and just sitting outside on the deck sipping our tea and hanging out with our dog - who also had a blast chasing tennis balls into the lake. :-) Our family desperately needed a change of scenery, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay, and hope to come back sometime after April 1st to book the boat!

The property was perfect for our family. Very clean! We loved that the back deck was gated in so our dogs could be outside with us when we were there. The hot tub and ping pong table made for some fun times. Even though the water was not at full height, the view was still wonderful. Mike was extremely helpful in answering any questions we had.

Batteries have been recharged!
What an amazing long weekend at a beautiful lake house in the mountains! It is exactly what my hubby and I needed for a change of scenery to recharge our mental and physical batteries:=) The home was perfect with a fabulous lake view, hot tub and fire pit. Mike and his wife were very hospitable and made us feel like family. Highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was exactly as described and the pictures were spot on. We were lucky to arrive the day after Christmas with fresh snowfall. The kitchen was well equipped and the cupboard even had sufficient spices. My only complaint is we couldn’t stay longer! I’d love to come back in the summer to take advantage of the lake and cruise on the boat. Thanks Lori and Jim you really take pride in your properties and it shows😀
