"This hotel is a quaint little gem. From the moment we walked in, we were instantly comfortable and knew we were in a special place. The website says each room is thoughtfully curated - you can choose your unique room when you book online. Our room was cozy chic with a comfy bed, pillows, a Dyson fan, heated floors in the bathroom - other than being a bit small, the room was great. We were lucky enough to have dinner on the rooftop the evening we arrived and the included breakfast the following...

Everything is fabulous: location is amazing, historic hotel is immaculate and magnificent, local shopping and dining and area doesn't get any better. "The staff was very helpful, gave us a lot of suggestions to local food and drinks. The location was brilliant, right next to downtown Carmel and 8min walk to beach. They also serve breakfast to your door around 8 am daily, which is delicious and has balanced ingredients. My only complaint is the soundproofing was poor, you can easily hear the voice in the next room. Fortunately everyone was mostly quiet during my stay."

"The patio is a must to sightsee ocean from Carmel. The Jacuzzi tub which could fit two persons is great. The only thing i would mention is one side of the mattress was broken...I will need to sleep on sofa :("

"This is a wonderful place. The location is right in the heart of old east Cambria, with many excellent restaurants nearby. Service great. Breakfast is very well done by a friendly staff. The house is very old, with some steep stairs, so if that's not your thing the upstairs rooms won't be your kind of place."

"Great location within walking distance of downtown. Close to some nice hiking trails, either by walking or driving. The rooms are pleasant, with good beds. Breakfast was tasty. There is a fun happy hour each afternoon."
