"My husband and I wanted a quiet place to decompress. Hillbrook Inn was a perfect place. It was so quiet and in nature. The food at the Inn was also excellent. Definitely will recommend this inn to anyone just to do nothing and be in nature. "

"The term "hotel" is a little misleading as it is more like an inn where there is no hotel staff onsite. An innkeeper greeted us to check us in and give us a tour of the property. The room was very clean and comfortable. We also visited the onsite restaurant, which was lovely. The food was excellent! Unfortunately, there were no real options for breakfast in town and no shopping or entertainment. If you stay here, be prepared for a quiet night in."

"We stayed at the James Buchanan Hotel during a trip to whitetail for skiing and the hotel was my favorite part of the experience. It was cozy, clean, and they even upgraded our room. It was so much fun to go to the pub in the hotel. The manager of the pub was so attentive and polite and everyone made sure we had a great stay. I can’t say enough nice good things about this place and I hope we will go back someday soon!"

"We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub. "We love this resort. Weve stayed in rooms and the deuxe cabin both were amazing. Clean, quiet, spacious we love staying here. Have tried the restaurant multiple times breakfast,dinner, drinks not really a fan of their food. But everything else is so awesome so we'll be staying here every trip "
