In a country that is going through a difficult economic and political crisis, the Louis V hotel was a comfortable oasis. The hotel has 24 hrs of power, a friendly and knowledgeable staff, and good clean facilities.
I stayed in early August (the hottest time of the year), and the AC in the room and lobby was excellent. There is a dining area which serves the same menu as room service. The menu has a lot of options at reasonable prices (the chicken soup is delicious). The lobby is great area to chill and hangout with a coffee.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If you need info on stuff around town (where to change money, renting cars, etc.) they will point you in the right direction.
Overall a great experience.
