"Basalt is a charming, out of the way area. Simply splendid! Front desk super friendly, breakfast plenty, room was roomy, & the heated, 21st century toilet was an added pleasure! Highly recommend."

Jun 28, 2019Basalt is a quaint town and is located between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. Few restaurants, so prepare for that. Very easy to take the RFTA bus to Aspen.
