When we booked the motel on expedia it came to $127.00. When we got there they had the same room advertised,double occupancy,for $69.00.Felt like we were taken advantage of. Robert Hendry

This hotel needs to be torn down and start over. The floor was slanted and our suitcase rolled across the room almost out the door. The walls were plywood that made us feel that we were staying in someone's broken down shed. The floor was so slanted that when you went to sit on the toilet, you actually fell back into it! The night stands were nonexistent, they were 10"x4" boards nailed to the wall.

A one star motel, I didn't expect much. Just a room to sleep in. But not even a chair to sit in or even a bar of soap for the sink would be an improvement

We stayed for about 10 minutes, just long enough to book something else. In all fairness, it was clean, it just had an ick factor. A bed in a room, no furniture. I wasn’t sure there was a bathroom until I opened what I thought was a closet. I found 3 steps up to the toilet and a shower stall off the second step. I couldn’t do it. In this area, you have to spend some cash to get a decent hotel.

We ended up leaving the first 10 minutes there. The place was disgusting. Bugs. Bathroom had no shower head and mold. The door to the place had a hole in it for any little creature to crawl in. We dropped the key off at the office and left. Would like to know if possible if we could get our money back. It was not worth 165 dollars a night

Although we were put in an “updated room”, it lacked a lot. No soap for sink, only one washcloth on second day, you have to step up into bathroom. No coffee maker, microwave or refrigerator, you had to go to the office for those luxuries. The rates we had to pay were outrageous.

This place should be reported to authorities, as it shouldn’t be running, it is inhabitable. I've never been picky, but this place is deplorable. The shower was missing a shower head, the toilet didn't flush, and the scent of Pine Sol was so overwhelming that we had to leave the windows and door open in order to breath. There was only one proper pillow, one throw pillow, and another pillow that was bunched up in a ball which clearly isn't suitable to have a proper sleep on. The toilet simply didn't flush. Some water came out, but not enough to clean out urine and toilet paper. Luckily no one in my party went number 2 during the one hour we stayed there. The wires of the tv were just thrown in whichever way it landed on the desk, leaving little space for usage. The heater is dubious and straight out of the 1920's, seeing the state of the room Id be cautious using it. The walls look makeshift, with pieces of plywood nailed in to cover holes, which are just an aesthetic detail, but in combination with the other issues, just adds to the discomfort one might feel here. We tried to talk to someone at the motel seeking assistance and were treated so horribly through a callbox. They refused to help, and kept insisting the room did have a shower and working toilet which was untrue. We ended up leaving the property and stayed elsewhere despite them refusing a refund, I’ve reported them to Expedia.

We checked in late so when I went to the office to pick up our room key. Nobody was there only a button for the intercom, but i couldn't hear her. So she was just yelling instructions that came out distorted. Apparently, the key was taped to the door but the communication was terrible. The room was horrible walls put together half ass, patches here and there. the bathroom sink water came out foamy.. what's that???

We were pleasantly surprised. We ended up in 2 of the new renovated rooms. Perfect for what we needed. Nothing fancy, a bed , new shower / bathroom. That's it! Most of the other rooms have not been renovated, keep up the good work Robbins Motel

The check in was the most bizarre experience I’ve ever had. It was almost dark and we had to go into an office and push a button on a beat up old intercom to call staff. She was managing this hotel, as well as the one across the street. There was a large billboard advertising all rooms $79/night, which drew several people to the hotel to check in the same time we were. Note: This was not what we paid through Expedia ($105 weekdays and $125 on Friday). With the chaos in the small checkin area I didn’t notice until after we checked in there was a discrepancy on the bill. I figured I would address the issue later, as we had things to do, places go… Upon checkout I paged the staff member and questioned the sign out front. She told me she was across the street and would not come over and I would have to call Expedia to deal with the issue. We chose this motel for the location and honestly didn’t expect much, except maybe a step above camping. That’s basically what it was. Housekeeping provided very little service and was random. Don’t expect much and call the hotel before booking through Expedia to check their rates.

This motel is one step above camping. Dated, run down and if they give you room 26, just turn around and sleep in your car. On the plus side, the staff is very nice.

When we went to check in there was no key and the hostess spent 15-20 minutes looking for one. She apologized several times then called manager who evidently made one without apology. Kickplate on door held on by 2 screws so flapped when door opened/closed. Smoke detector hanging by wires. Hot water infrequently. Uncomfortable and noisy bed. Insufficient towels for 2 people, sink appears ready to fall off the wall. Servicing of room consisted of emptying trash can and nothing else. Room was reasonably clean, but ground by steps full of cigarette butts.

The receptionist was friendly and provided coffee, microwave, and ice at registration for access any time. There were 2 outdoor chairs at room’s entrance which was nice for sitting outside. Robbins Motel had 2 very good restaurants within walking distance, which was a real plus. When we arrived the room was clean. However, there were 2 checked in to our room. We had 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 bath mat, and 2 wash clothes to ‘share’. Stayed 3 days. The towels were never replaced with clean ones, Initially provided disposable plastic cups in room. We had zero housekeeping services during the stay. The room was inexpensive and available.

Great basic motel at a great price
The Robbins Motel was exactly what we needed. It did not have great ratings but was an amazing value so we had low expectations but right away the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The motel is old but they have done all the right things to make the best use of the space and it was exceptionally clean without any mustiness or disinfectant smell. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was strong and hot. I highly recommend!
