At check-in we were told we had two king rooms reserved.Expedia made a mistake in our reservation since,obviously, there was only one couple travelling. Please correct the charge to my credit card for the extra reservatiion.

Staff was really friendly. Breakfast was amazing. We took our dog with us and the room was perfect for the three of us. Definitely I recommend this place

We were pleasantly surprised with this property. We had a king suite that had a separate room with a little loveseat, and a chair that made the place feel much more spacious. The bathroom with spacious with a large shower. The grounds were very nicely kept in the staff was pleasant and friendly. The varied the breakfast every day a little bit. We really appreciated having laundry facilities as we were on a car trip and didn’t have to find a separate laundromat. It was far enough away from Bar Harbor that it was not congested and we could barely hear the traffic outside with the doors closed. Check in and out was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this property.

It is a quiet decent inn somewhere in the middle between the Acadia Park and Ellsworth town. The only drawback is a very limited dining options nearby.

The rooms are NOT sound proof. There is no stated quiet hours . At 9:30 p.m. a delightfully little child squealed and screamed in happiness nonstop for 2 hours. The Parents seemed uncaring to quiet the child both outside the door and inside the room. The next night the same thing happened; apparently a 2-day stay. The parking spot is on a dangerous corner. We almost got clipped. I had to park my car in a tight fit. Handicapped room yes, BUT had to drive around the complex to get breakfast. (Not handy). We had no space to allow my passenger to enter/exit our car - it pinned next to a building wall. Room was clean, but dark colors, dismal appearance. Bathroom was bright and clean. Breakfast was "meh." No coffee 2 days in a row, oatmeal was thick like paste, only fresh fruit was an apple. I have stayed in Bar Harbor for annual visits for nearly a decade. We will be not be using B.Western ever again; will be staying at our usual motel (this trip was an unexpected visit, our usual motel was booked full.) There, breakfast is much better, room is pristine clean and bright. Parking is safer (...less expensive also.)

They only service your room one time during your stay if you request. I woukd at least like someone to take out the trash everyday.

Our apologies. We do ask in the welcome letter that trash be placed outside of your door and any towels you would like replaced. Housekeeping would pick up and replace with clean and more trash bags. It was immaculately clean. From the lobby to the breakfast area to the parking lot, and especially the rooms. The staff there was very attentive and eager to please. We will definately book our next trip to Bar Harbor there !!!

Pouring rain, electricity outages several times during the night. Motel like situation but no assigned parking so going in and out to bring luggage in made one soaking wet. A/C blows up the curtains instead of into the room resulting in a damp feeling in the room. Unfriendly and unhelpful desk attendant and the cost of $560 for one night makes this stay laughable. Cannot recommend this to anyone.

The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very good and the place was quiet even though it was on the highway. I had to go ask how to work the tv and she explained it perfectly.- I think a lot of people ask that.

It was close to the Acadia National Park and Cadillac mountain ! After eating our breakfast included with the room. We headed out to enjoy our day around the park and hunting for lighthouses! Ps checkout MAINLY MEATS for some good BBQ they are just up the street. Thanks for the restful stay ds.

Good value for proxmity to Bar Harbor and Acadia
Older style facility with exterior access doors to rooms, and buildings are individual and separated. OK except it was raining pretty hard and so got wet on way to / from breakfast. Fun in the mornings. The room was clean and comfortable except for the fact it had a damp smell to it. The "musty" odor was a an unexpected situation for what was an otherwise nice room. My particular unit was away from the road so no road noise. Overall, for a facility close to Bar Harbor and Acadia park, it was a good option, especially when considering some of the competing facilities. The value for price at time of the visit was a good choice.

It was a perfect place to stay, Not to far away from bar harbor. It’s tucked away in a nice area with an expansive “campus” to walk and just enjoy the natural beauty of Maine.

This was a nice are not too far from the waterfront shops and restaurants. It was also very close to Acadia National Park. The shuttle is also a nice feature.

The hotel is a good locarion for Arcadia explorations, just about 2 miles away. The room was good size and the complex was quiet, lots of good outdoor seatings, and nice free breakfast. We would return to the hotel if vacationing in Arcadia again.

The hotel was fine. We’re not fussy people. We didn’t need to spend a fortune on a room we were hardly in. It was convenient to Arcadia that’s all that mattered.
