During my vacation, I had the pleasure of being served by two exceptional bartenders, Lara and Sam. Their dedication and skill truly made my trip worthwhile. Lara's attention to detail and creative flair in crafting cocktails left me impressed every time I visited the bar. She had an incredible ability to recommend drinks tailored to my preferences, ensuring each sip was a delight. Sam, on the other hand, exuded warmth and hospitality with every interaction. His friendly demeanor and attentive service created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. Thanks to the outstanding service of the concierge, my experience at this hotel was truly memorable. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking exceptional hospitality and a truly unforgettable stay.

Beautiful facility, excellent staff and service. On check in the staff went into another room with my credit card, this made me uncomfortable. The room was excellent, the problem was wood smoke from the fireplace embedded into every surface. On entering the room I was choking to breathe. I opened every door and window. I went out leaving the windows open; on return the room was bearable. When I got home all my clothes smelled like smoke, the irony being they would fine me for cigarette smoke. There was construction and limited parking available. Really too bad for such a nice facility.

We had a very good stay, the property is very clean, and well maintained. Staff were friendly and provided great service. As an accommodation it has sood the test of time. We have stayed there many times in the past and must say that the restaurant has declined…its good, just not great as we had come to expect from numerous previous visits.

The views from our room was amazing, we had a perfect view of the Northern Lights through our back door. Room size was perfect, bathroom was very nice and clean and the Nespresso machine in the room was the cherry on top!

Great stay on Tunnel mountain. Loved the free parking but thought they should offer free bus passes to use within the townsite of Banff like every other hotel in Banff does. Great outdoor hot tub and their new restaurant the Prow had a great breakfast.

Privacy. The way the property is designed, we werent looking onto ither people's decks. The view was gorgeous, the fireplace was awesome and the heated floor in the bathroom was heavenly with the clawfoot tub. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure. The staff were respectful and gave us the freesom to do as we please.

Nice accommodation however there was a huge difference between my room and my sisters as she had a newer room and I seem to have one of the unfurnished ones. It all needed an upgrade and wasn’t worth what we paid for the 4 days we were there. Hot tub was great and staff also fantastic.

We were very pleased with the staff and the newly upgraded King room. The process from start to finish was smooth. They upgraded our room when they knew it was our anniversary and also checked in several times to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this place for your next stay in Banff. Great location. Easy access to Banff if required. Regular bus service into town to save on parking. Staff were great at check-in and in the restaurant. Food is amazing in there and the cocktails aren’t bad either wink!

Loved that it was away from town and more situated in the mountains. The fireplaces in the room were exactly what we wanted. And it was so awesome not to have to pay for firewood. They provided kindling and firewood for us whenever necessary

Overall it was ok, just nothing to write home about. Restaurant was a bad experience just like the time before. Went early for breakfast yet two days in a row the ran out of menu items. Server never came to check on us, his coworker did once. We paid the bill to her and then went leave. Our original server comes running after us with a bill. Figure it out. Lastly, the front desk staff calls saying there is a gift for us (marketing scheme) and that the staff is bringing it to the room right away. Having dinner plans elsewhere, we advised them to come directly to our room or not at all. Miscommunication between staff. As we are getting to our vehicle to leave (after waiting 20 minutes), we see a staff member hurrying past our room only to hit the run desk and hurry back. We had to leave in order to make our reservation time. Just a lack of direction and attention from the staff. Poor service or poor training....or both.

We loved having a fire in our room, and the hot tub with fireplace was awesome. We weren’t sure if it would be open so you may want to make it clear that it is open year round on your website.

I had a great birthday celebration with my family at Buffalo Mountain Lodge, located in Banff, which I booked through Expedia. Thankfully, I received a $25 credit as a gift from Expedia, and I intended to use it after dining at the restaurant inside the lodge. However, for some reason, it took over 40 minutes to process the payment, causing significant inconvenience. With the hope that the lodge's counter staff or system, which made the received gift feel less valuable, will improve, I am leaving this feedback.
