Villas in Balch Springs

"Casa Duro was a fabulous boutique hotel that felt more had the intimate feel of a bed and breakfast. We stayed in the “Marcia” which was perfect for my husband and me and our adult son. We had 2 full bathrooms which was so nice as well a large dining room table where we played dominoes, Scrabble and Uno on a rainy day. The area surrounding had fantastic restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed walking around the lake and The Arboretum and Greenville. The best was Sisters restaurant just below our room....

In my opinion, the pictures on Vrbo understate the view of Lake Hubbard from the house. The house is very new - we were the first renters after the hosts purchased it. "We had everything we needed for our stay in Dallas. The house was comfortable and well-kept. The backyard was well-lit, warm, and relaxed. We enjoyed the fire pit and the cool weather at night. Some of the neighbors were a bit loud—blaring music well into the night—but they kept to themselves, and we hardly noticed them once we were indoors. Our group enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Great host!"

"The house was more than we expected. There were 14 of us, and we all had comfortable places to sleep. It wasn't as clean as we would have liked, but it wasn't terrible, certainly nothing we couldn't deal with easily. (Coffee maker was filled with coffee, dirty towels in the washing machine... stuff like that.) Overall, I'd recommend it."

"This was a great place for our family get-together for the eclipse viewing. Loved the private yard and patio where we spent a lot of time. Lots of comfortable room indoors to hang out and watch tv. Highly recommend this home! Very responsive when we had a question."

"My family enjoyed our stay here in April. The kids loved the pool and spa. The host was very responsive to text messages. She was so thoughtful and provided extra towels and even solar glasses for us to use to see the eclipse! The bathrooms were a bit dated but there was always plenty of hot water. I wish there was more silverware too. We had a lot of people so we had to run the dishwasher a lot. Overall this is a great home to stay at with a large group. It is also close to many restaurants...

"We loved the rooftop bar and the options for the views. However, it did become a bit noisey when you need to sleep to get back to another state the next day. Also, we weren’t aware the space was rented out and free to the public. The restaurant downstairs was great, and not crowded."
