Since it was a small wedding, no hotel blocks had been set aside, and by the time I got around to booking, they were either full or super expensive. Then I found this place, and it was better than a hotel! We had three couples, so the three bedrooms and three bathrooms were ideal. Needs just a few practical items for the rooms in the basement, which I suggested to the owner but otherwise it was perfect for our trip back to visit family. We would have loved to have been able to sit outside on the nice back deck, but we got some rain while we were there. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Our team had a one day conference in Chicago. Although it was near the highway it wasn't very loud. Decent neighborhood and the good part is that it was near the highway. Lower level bed is uncomfortable, no other way to say that. I still give it 5-stars as it is as advertised. Communication with owner was timely."

"We were in town to host a wedding rehearsal dinner. We had various family members staying and had to do a lot of food prep for the dinner. The kitchen and dining area layout was terrific and the bedrooms fit the needs of everyone from kids, singles, and married couples. Since the house is supposed to accommodate 12 people, the living room area could use additional seating. We alerted the owner of some cleaning issues and she responded immediately."

"Close to a nice walking trail by the Fox river. Stairs are a bit steep, but one bedroom is on the main floor."

"They missed a few details such as mowing the front and back yard. We had a dog but could not walk it. The grass and weeds were up to my knees. The cleaning crew was there even after our check in time. There was no hand soap in one of the bathrooms and no paper towel in the kitchen. Overall, a nice spacious house centrally located and beautifully furnished and decorated."
