Summer at Aspen Snowmass means fresh, alpine air, alfresco dining and loads of activities. Zoom down the 25 miles (40 kilometers) of trails of the Snowmass Bike Park or put on your hiking boots and climb to panoramic mountain views.

If you’d rather ride than hike, take the Elk Camp Gondola or Silver Queen Gondola up the mountain for free outdoor activities, trail access and on-mountain dining. Challenge mind and body at the Lost Forest, braving the zip lines, ropes challenges, climbing wall and Breathtaker Alpine Coaster. Play disc golf and fish in serene ponds. The available activities are as endless as the summer days are long.

When the alpine meadows shift from wildflowers to white powder, ski and snowboard on more than 90 trails, taking advantage of one of the largest vertical descents of North American ski resorts. Celebrate the Norse God of Snow during Ullr Nights, a winter wonderland party at Elk Camp on Snowmass. Entertain the whole family on the tubing hill; then warm up with s’mores and hot chocolate next to a bonfire.

Get up early and join the staff on a First Tracks run on freshly groomed snow or powder. This unforgettable experience is complimentary and open to upper-level intermediate skiers and snowboarders ages 11 and up.

Families love Snowmass for the Very Important Kids Snowmass program, which provides fun entertainment options for children after the ski day is over. The Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center at the base offers childcare, group ski lessons and complimentary activities.
