"The thing to remember about this place, it is cheaper than everything else. So, it is basic furniture and breakfast is weird with everyone on one table and only eggs as the cooked food, but you get what you pay for! The most annoying thing is that they email you in advance to ask when you are arriving but clearly don’t look at the response. Any issues and you are told ‘you can cancel’ in a way that implies they might cancel your reservation! To be fair, they didn’t but it was a very odd...

"Had the most wonderful stay at harborwalk Lodge. It's owned by the nicest and most accommodating couple, David and Patricia. Patricia is a chef and made us the most delicious breakfasts. The place is immaculate and is decorated nicely. We had the whole place to ourselves. It was so relaxing and had everything we needed. If we are ever in the area, we will be staying here. "

That was a great benefit because parking down there is horrible. The breakfast was second to none. The whole stay was wonderful. "Staff could not have been any kinder. The location is excellent. It is a short distance to Houston, Pasadena, La Porte, Clear Lake and Galveston. It was December and I was not able to take advantage of the lovely pool. However, this was a wonderful experience. Thank you to the Wyman House!"

"I really like the location of this hotel. Walking distance to a major park and museums. It is apparently very dog friendly because I saw a lot of dogs during my stay. The only reason I did not give the property 5 starts is because I found the decor to be sort of weird. It’s dark and I’m not sure the vibe they are going for. Maybe Alice in Wonderland meets old Hollywood meets weird art on the walls. But to each their own. "
