"You can't beat the location, right across from the entrance to the Cathedral. The hotel is in a very old building and they have done a good job of updating over time. Our attic room had a flight of stairs inside the door to the room and had a level above that. Service was good, cleanliness generally good, but there was a lot of sandy debris on the bedcover when we arrived - I assume because the windows had been left open. Only thing that let the room down was the creeky floor of the whole room that gave the impression to the occupants below and led to a complaint from reception that we were stomping about when in fact we had no shoes on at all!
